County routes in Rockland County, New York, are maintained by the Rockland County highway department and signed with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices-standard yellow-on-blue pentagon route marker. Most of the routes act as primary roads in the less developed areas and also serve to interconnect the various villages and hamlets of the county example CR 80 is congers road in new city and congers. Across the county, routes are numbered such that odd-numbered routes are north–south and increase in number from east to west, while even-numbered routes are east–west and increase from south to north.
There are 63 current routes and seven routes no longer maintained by the county, making for a total of 70 routes. The longest routes are CR 33, CR 23, and CR 80, all at over ten miles (16 km). The shortest route is CR 118A in Stony Point at 0.11 miles (0.18 km) long. There are also two routes that cross into Orange County and keep the same number from Rockland: CR 106 in Tuxedo and CR 72 in Sloatsburg. Also, several routes enter from New Jersey; two of these include CR 41 in Chestnut Ridge and CR 89 in Airmont. The northernmost route is CR 118 in Stony Point and the southernmost is CR 4 in Palisades. [1]

Montauk Highway is an east–west road extending for 95 miles (153 km) across the southern shore of Long Island in Suffolk County, New York, in the United States. It extends from the Amityville/Copiague village/hamlet line in Amityville, where it continues as Merrick Road, to Montauk Point State Park at the very eastern end of Long Island in Montauk. The highway is known by several designations along its routing, primarily New York State Route 27A (NY 27A) from the county line to Oakdale and NY 27 east of Southampton. The portion of Montauk Highway between Oakdale and Southampton is mostly county-maintained as County Route 80 and County Route 85.
New York State Route 149 (NY 149) is an east–west state highway that runs for 32.20 miles (51.82 km) through the Capital District of New York in the United States. It begins at exit 20 on the Adirondack Northway in the Warren County town of Queensbury and intersects U.S. Route 9 (US 9), US 4, and NY 22, among other routes, as it progresses eastward to its eastern end at the Vermont state line in the Washington County village of Granville. Here, the highway becomes Vermont Route 149 (VT 149) and continues for an additional 1.302 miles (2.095 km) to an intersection with VT 30 in Rutland County. Both NY 149 and VT 149 traverse mostly rural areas.
New York State Route 210 (NY 210) is a state highway in Orange County, New York, in the United States. It runs north from the New Jersey state line—where it continues south as Passaic County Route 511 (CR 511)—along the west shore of Greenwood Lake to the eponymous village of Greenwood Lake, where it ends at a junction with NY 17A. It was once much longer, as it originally extended east along NY 17A and CR 106 in Orange and Rockland counties to Stony Point when it was assigned as part of the 1930 renumbering of state highways in New York. The route was truncated to its current length in 1982. Prior to becoming NY 210 in 1930, the road alongside Greenwood Lake was part of NY 55, a route connecting New Jersey to Goshen, in the 1920s.
New York State Route 26 (NY 26) is a north–south state highway that runs for 203.80 miles (327.98 km) through Central New York in the United States. Its southern terminus is located at the Pennsylvania state line south of the town of Vestal in Broome County, where it becomes Pennsylvania Route 267 (PA 267). Its northern terminus is located at a junction with NY 12 in the village of Alexandria Bay in Jefferson County. NY 26 serves three cities along its routing; one directly (Rome) and two via other roadways. NY 26 also intersects several other primary routes including I-81 in Barker, an overlap with U.S. Route 20 (US 20) in Madison, NY 12 in Lowville, and an overlap with US 11 in the Jefferson County town of Philadelphia.

It extends from Interstate 88 (I-88) at exit 13 near the city of Oneonta to a junction with NY 28 and NY 80 in the town of Otsego. The latter junction also marks the east end of a 2.1-mile (3.4 km) overlap between NY 205 and NY 80, from where NY 80 heads southeast to follow NY 28 to Cooperstown. NY 205 is a two-lane highway for its entire length and passes through the towns of Oneonta, Laurens and Hartwick.
New York State Route 163 (NY 163) is an 11.97-mile-long (19.26 km) east–west state highway in Montgomery County, New York, in the United States. With the exception of its eastern terminus, NY 163 is not signed with directions. Reference markers indicate its terminus in Fort Plain to be its western, although the route heads nearly due southward until Sprout Brook. Approaching that hamlet, it is named Cherry Valley Road, and when NY 163 turns left to head eastward, County Route 82 (CR 82) continues that road name directly to NY 166 which leads to Cherry Valley. In Fort Plain, NY 163 follows Kellogg and Douglas streets. NY 163 is a two-lane highway for its entire length. The route was assigned as part of the 1930 renumbering of state highways in New York and originally continued north to the village of Canajoharie via NY 10.

It extends for just under 18 miles (29 km) on a northeast–southwest alignment from an intersection with New York State Route 17 (NY 17) in the village of Sloatsburg to a junction with U.S. Route 9W (US 9W) and US 202 south of the Bear Mountain Bridge in the town of Stony Point. Most of the parkway is located in either Harriman or Bear Mountain state parks, except for a small stretch near its southern end. Ownership of Seven Lakes Drive is split between three entities, two of which are also responsible for maintenance of the road.
U.S. Route 219 (US 219) is a part of the U.S. Highway System that runs from Rich Creek, Virginia, to West Seneca, New York. In the U.S. state of New York, US 219 extends 67.63 miles (108.84 km) from the Pennsylvania state line at Carrollton to an interchange with the New York State Thruway at exit 55 in West Seneca, southeast of downtown Buffalo.
