This is a list of football teams based in the English county of Shropshire sorted by which domestic league they currently compete in. The leagues are listed in order of their level in the English football league system. The list only features teams from the 1st to the 10th tier of the system.

  1. Although the club represent the village of Shawbury, they currently play their home games in Ludlow. The club has been granted planning permission to build a new ground back in Shawbury, off the A53, and aim to begin playing there by 2022-23. [1]

They are members of the Midland League Division One, having been relegated from the Midland Football League Premier Division at the end of the 2017-18 season.

The Shropshire County Premier Football League was an English association football league based in the county of Shropshire. The league, usually known as the Shropshire County League, was founded in 1950 and in the final season had two divisions which sat at levels 13 and 14 of the English football league system. It was dissolved in May 2012 and all member clubs transferred to a new, larger Mercian Regional Football League for the 2012–13 season.

The 2010–11 West Midlands (Regional) League season was the 111th in the history of the West Midlands (Regional) League, an English association football competition for semi-professional and amateur teams based in the West Midlands county, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and southern Staffordshire. It has three divisions, the highest of which is the Premier Division, which sits at step 6 of the National League System, or the tenth level of the overall English football league system.

Wem Town Ladies Football Club is a women's semi-professional association football club from Wem, and affiliated to the men's team of the same name. They play in the. The club are a part of The New Saints F.C. foundation and share close links with the other sections of the club. Until 2020, they were known as The New Saints of Oswestry Town & Llansantffraid Ladies Football Club due to their partnership with the Cymru Premier side.

The 2020–21 North West Counties Football League season was the 39th in the history of the North West Counties Football League, a football competition in England, and the third season following the split of the lower level into two geographically separated divisions. Teams are divided into three divisions: Premier Division, at Step 5, and Divisions One North and South, at Step 6.
