Futaro Yamada was the pen name of Seiya Yamada, a Japanese author. He was born in Yabu, Hyogo. In 1947, he wrote a mystery short story Daruma-tōge no Jiken and was awarded a prize by the magazine Houseki (宝石). He was discovered by Edogawa Rampo and became a novelist. He wrote many ninja and mystery stories. Many of his works have been adapted for film, TV, manga, and anime.
Michael Leslie Winslow is an American actor, comedian and beatboxer billed as The Man of 10,000 Sound Effects for his ability to make realistic sounds using only his voice. He is best known for his roles in all seven Police Academy films as Larvell Jones. He has also appeared in Spaceballs, Cheech and Chong's Next Movie and Nice Dreams, The Love Boat, and commercials for Cadbury and GEICO.
Basilisk is a Japanese manga series based on the 1958 novel The Kouga Ninja Scrolls written by Futaro Yamada and illustrated by Masaki Segawa. It was serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Young Magazine Uppers from February 2003 to July 2004. The story takes place in the year 1614. Two ninja clans, Iga of Tsubagakure and the Kouga of Manjidani, battle each other to determine which grandson of Tokugawa Ieyasu will become the next shogun. The deadly competition between 10 elite ninja from each clan unleashes a centuries-old hatred that threatens to destroy all hope for peace between them.
Asami Jō, also spelled Asami Joh, is a Japanese actress and former AV Idol from Tokyo. Fans of tokusatsu TV shows also know her as the villain Shibolena in the Super Sentai series Denji Sentai Megaranger.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja, released in Japan as Naruto: Gekitō Ninja Taisen!, is a series of 3D cel-shaded fighting games based on the manga and anime series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. They are developed by Eighting and published by D3 Publisher and Tomy. The series began with four GameCube games, with the first two available internationally and the last two released exclusively in Japan, before splitting into two parallel Wii-exclusive follow-up series: the Gekitō Ninja Taisen EX tetralogy released exclusively in Japan and its international counterpart, the Clash of Ninja: Revolution trilogy. The two Wii series share the same gameplay mechanics, but differ with respect to content and characters, with the international Revolution series being based on a localized version of the Naruto anime series. The first half of the original series and the entire Revolution trilogy are available in North America and Europe, the first two Revolution games are available in Australasia and all games in the series except the Revolution trilogy are available in Japan.
Kunoichi is a Japanese cant term for "woman". In popular culture, it is often used for female shinobi or practitioner of ninjutsu (ninpo). The term was largely popularized by novelist Yamada Futaro in his novel Ninpō Hakkenden (忍法八犬伝) in 1964.
Female Ninja Magic: 100 Trampled Flowers is a 1974 Japanese film in Nikkatsu's Roman porno series, directed by Chūsei Sone and starring Junko Miyashita.
Hitomi Shiraishi is a former Japanese model, adult video (AV) actress, and a movie and TV actress from the 1990s. After retiring from performing, she went on to a second career as a movie screenwriter under the name Yukie Ochiai (落合雪恵).
Modern Female Ninja: Flesh HellakaInferno of the Flesh is a 1968 Japanese pink film directed by Kan Mukai. It is in the part-color format which was used in pink films in the late 1960s and early 1970s before full-color was made standard with the introduction of Nikkatsu's Roman porno series.

Kunoichi ninpō is a 1964 Japanese erotic film directed by Sadao Nakajima in his directorial debut. It is based on Futaro Yamada's novel Kunoichi Ninpōchō.
Kunoichi Keshō also known as The Spying Sorceress is a 1964 Japanese comedy jidaigeki film directed by Sadao Nakajima. Nakajima himself did the casting and Shigeru Tsuyuguchi, Kō Nishimura and Masumi Harukawa were cast from Shohei Imamura's film Unholy Desire because he was impressed with the film. It is based on Futaro Yamada's novel of the same title and 2nd in his Kunoichi film series.
Ninpō-chushingura is a 1965 Japanese erotic jidaigeki film directed by Yasuto Hasegawa. The film deals with the revenge of the forty-seven rōnin. It is based on Futaro Yamada's novel "Ninpō-chushingura". It is 3rd in Futaro Yamada's Kunoichi film series. The president of Toei company Shigeru Okada asked Sadao Nakajima who directed past 2 Futaro Yamada's Kunoichi films to direct the film but he declined the offer.
Ero Ninja Scrolls is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruki. It has been serialized in Hakusensha's seinenecchi-oriented digital manga magazine Harem since November 2018.
