Indian singer and music director Ankit Tiwari started his singing career in 2011 with the release of the film Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster , where he composed and rendered the song "Saheb Bada Hatila". Though the song did not get much recognition in the musical platforms, his next release "Sunn Raha Hai" from Aashiqui 2 (2013) has attained general acclaim from music critics. Tiwari received his first nomination of Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the film. [1] He also won Filmfare Award for Best Music Director along with Mithoon & Jeet Gannguli for the same film. He received nomination from IIFA [2] and Star Guild Awards [3] and won the Mirchi's "Upcoming Male Vocalist of the Year" award for the song. It also fetched him several other awards for Best Music Director category. [4] During the year he also did playback for a song titled "Aag Ka Dariya" from Issaq .
In 2014, Tiwari had eleven songs released and collaborated with different music directors; Shamir Tandon for Dee Saturday Night , Ismail Darbar for Kaanchi... , Ram Sampath for Purani Jeans and Himesh Reshammiya for two of his films, The Xposé and Action Jackson . He also sang a duet with Shreya Ghoshal–who had earlier worked with him in the female version of "Sunn Raha Hai"–for the song "Tequila Wakila" in Samrat & Co. . The year marks the first time, Tiwari dubbed for Aamir Khan, in the song "Dil Darbadar" from PK . He also composed a song for Singham Returns. Out of all the releases during the year, the most successful song happened to be "Galliyan" from Ek Villain , for which he received Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer [5] and received a nomination of Filmfare Award for Best Music Director along with Mithoon & Soch. He also won Stardust Awards, [6] BIG Star Entertainment Awards [7] and Star Guild Awards. [8] In 2015, he composed or sang for Alone, Khamoshiyan, Roy, Badmashiyaan, Mr. X, All Is Well (film), Bhaag Johnny, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, Ishqedarriyaan, Tanu Weds Manu Returns. He won again Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for Roy along with Amaal Mallik & Meet Bros. He also received a nomination of Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the same film. In 2016, Tiwari sang or composed for Wazir, Airlift, Sanam Teri Kasam, Sanam Re, Baaghi, Tum Bin II, Junooniyat, Rustom, Rocky Handsome, Ishq Junoon, Beiimaan Love. He received another nomination of Filmfare Award for Best Music Director along with Amaal Mallik, Meet Bros & Manj Musik for Baaghi. In 2017, he only composed a song for Baadshaho. In 2018, he composed & sang a song with Palak Muchhal for Aiyaary. He also sang a song for Baaghi 2 with shruti pathak.

Udit Narayan Jha is an Indian playback singer whose songs have been featured mainly in Hindi films. He has also sung in various other languages including Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Bengali, Sindhi, Odia, Bhojpuri, Nepali, Malayalam, Assamese, Bagheli and Maithili. The music video of the track features actors Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor. A revised version of the song is created for its spiritual sequel for the 2022 film, Ek Villain Returns titled "Galliyan Returns". The music video of the track is picturised on lead couples John Abraham and Disha Patani also Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria. Ankit Tiwari again sang and composed for the revised version and lyrics was written by Manoj Muntashir.
Aashiqui 2 is the soundtrack to the 2013 Indian Hindi-language romantic musical drama film of the same name, directed by Mohit Suri and starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. Amaal Mallik is an Indian music director, composer, singer, music producer, arranger, background scorer, performer and lyricist. He is the elder son of Daboo Malik and Jyothi Malik, and grandson of Sardar Malik. He debuted as a composer in 2014 by composing three songs for Salman Khan's Jai Ho, following it up with the song "Naina" from Khoobsurat. He got widely recognition by composing songs for M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. He is signed on by Sony Music India.

He was awarded Upcoming Male Vocalist of the Year at 8th Mirchi Music Awards for his song "Zindagi Kuch Toh Bata (Reprise)" from Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He also won the Rising Musical Star Award at Zee Business Awards. He has since recorded songs for films in various Indian languages, predominantly Hindi. He is signed on by T-Series.
Ek Villain is the soundtrack to the 2014 film of the same name directed by Mohit Suri starring Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor. Mithoon composed and wrote three songs for the film, while Ankit Tiwari contributed music for one song "Galliyan" with lyrics by Manoj Muntashir which also features an unplugged version. The track "Awari" is composed and penned by Adnan Dhool and Rabbi Ahmed of the Pakistani pop and Sufi band Soch. The soundtrack which consisted six songs, released on 28 May 2014 under the T-Series label, to positive reviews.
