Brongersma's lobulia (Lobulia brongersmai) is a species of skink, a lizard in the family Scincidae. The species is endemic to the island of New Guinea. [2]

Habitat

The preferred natural habitat of L. brongersmai is forest, at altitudes of 1,000–1,500 m (3,300–4,900 ft). [1]

Etymology

The specific name, brongersmai, is in honor of Dutch herpetologist Leo Brongersma. [3]

Description

L. brongersmai may attain a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 5.9 cm (2.3 in). [2]

Reproduction

The mode of reproduction of L. brongersmai is unknown. [2]
