Mark Owen Taylor (born 28 October 1967) is an Australian politician. He has been a Liberal Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly since March 2015,representing the electorate of Seven Hills. [1] He was previously a councillor of The Hills Shire.
Taylor was born and raised in Toongabbie,Sydney. [2] He was educated at Model Farms High School in Baulkham Hills and James Ruse Agricultural High School in Carlingford. After school,Taylor commenced studies in environmental science at the University of Western Sydney while working for the Ku-ring-gai Council. In 1988 he joined the Australian Federal Police. In 1992 he joined the New South Wales Police Force. He was appointed a police prosecutor in 1995 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2003.
Taylor was elected as a councillor of The Hills Shire at the 2012 New South Wales council elections and represented North Ward until 2017. [3] In April 2014 it was reported that Taylor had been endorsed as the Liberal candidate for the Electoral district of Seven Hills at the next state election. Taylor subsequently went on to win the seat with an 8% margin. [4]
Clover Margaret Moore is an Australian politician. She has been the Lord Mayor of the City of Sydney since 2004 and is currently the longest serving Lord Mayor of Sydney since the creation of the City of Sydney in 1842. She was an independent member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1988 to 2012,representing the electorates of Bligh (1988–2007) and Sydney (2007–2012). Her "recurrent motif" is described as "making Sydney more liveable for individuals and families". Moore is the first popularly elected female Lord Mayor of Sydney.
Joanna Gash is a former Australian politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives representing the Division of Gilmore for the Liberal Party from 1996 to 2013. In 2012,Gash was directly elected as the Mayor of the City of Shoalhaven,a local government area in the south-eastern coastal region of New South Wales. In 2016,Gash lost the direct election for Mayor of the City of Shoalhaven to Amanda Findley. She was elected as a Ward 2 Councillor for the City of Shoalhaven.

The suburb is north-west of the Sydney central business district,and encompasses 401 square kilometres (155 sq mi) stretching from the M2 Hills Motorway in the south to Wiseman's Ferry on the Hawkesbury River in the north. The Hills Shire had a population of 157,243 as at the 2016 census.

Barry Joseph Collier is an Australian politician. He was a Labor Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2011 and from 2013 to 2015,representing the electorate of Miranda. Collier retired at the 2011 election,but contested and won a 2013 by-election when his successor,Liberal Graham Annesley,resigned. Collier then retired a second time at the 2015 election. In September 2016,Collier was elected to Sutherland Shire Council,serving as a Councillor representing B Ward.

A general election for the 56th Parliament of New South Wales (NSW) was held on Saturday 28 March 2015. Members were elected to all 93 seats in the Legislative Assembly using optional preferential voting. Members were also elected to 21 of the 42 seats in the Legislative Council using optional preferential proportional representation voting. The election was conducted by the New South Wales Electoral Commission.
The 2020 Eden-Monaro by-election was held on 4 July 2020 to elect the next Member of the Australian Parliament for the division of Eden-Monaro in the House of Representatives. The by-election was triggered following the resignation of incumbent Labor MP Mike Kelly. Kelly resigned on 30 April 2020,citing ill health.
