Marion is a city in and the county seat of McDowell County, North Carolina, United States. Founded in 1844, the city was named in honor of Brigadier General Francis Marion, the American Revolutionary War Hero whose talent in guerrilla warfare earned him the name "Swamp Fox". Marion's Main Street Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The population was 7,717 at the 2020 Census.

Calvin Memorial Presbyterian Church, located at 3105 North 24th Street, was formed in 1954 as an integrated congregation in North Omaha, Nebraska. Originally called the North Presbyterian Church, the City of Omaha has reported, "Calvin Memorial Presbyterian Church is architecturally significant to Omaha as a fine example of the Neo-Classical Revival Style of architecture." It was designated a City of Omaha landmark in 1985; it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as North Presbyterian Church in 1986.

Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church at 450 Randolph Avenue in Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia, United States. It was originally built in 1894 and 1895 after designs prepared by the Baltimore architect Charles E. Cassell. In 1921, an Akron plan Sunday School building was added to the north by Clarence L. Harding of Washington D. C. The building consists of a nave, an engaged tower, and a gable roofed structure located perpendicular to the nave. It is built of a granular conglomerate stone consisting of large, transparent quartz crystals bound in clay or silica. The style is Gothic, with Romanesque and eclectic influences.

The congregation was established in 1845, and the current church building was constructed in 1923. It is a one-story plus balcony Classical Revival style brick building set on a raised basement. The front facade features a monumental Ionic order tetrastyle pedimented portico.

Povey Brothers Studio, also known as Povey Brothers Art Glass Works or Povey Bros. Glass Co., was an American producer of stained glass windows based in Portland, Oregon. The studio was active from 1888 to 1928. As the largest and best known art glass company in Oregon, it produced windows for homes, churches, and commercial buildings throughout the West. When the firm was founded in 1888, it was the only creative window firm in Portland, then a city of 42,000 residents.

First Presbyterian Church, also known as First United Presbyterian Church, Templar Lodge No. 514, and the West Bend Historical Museum, is a historic building located in West Bend, Iowa, United States. The first recorded Protestant services in town were led by a Presbyterian minister, the Rev. David S. McComb in 1851. First Presbyterian Church was chartered on December 23, 1883, with 11 members. The Rev. Harvey S. Dickey served as their first pastor. They initially worshiped in homes until they built this church building in 1889. An addition was constructed onto the rear of the building in 1915 as the congregation grew. They continued to worship here until 1972 when lack of numbers forced them to dissolve. Templar Lodge No.514 took over the building at that point and used it until December 14, 1977. The West Bend Historical Society acquired the building and used it for a museum from 1981 until 2007.
The Greensboro History Museum, consisting of the former First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro and Smith Memorial Building, is a historic museum building located at 130 Summit Ave. in Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina. The former Presbyterian church was built in 1892 on the site of a former Confederate hospital, and is a Romanesque Revival style brick building with a cross gable roof and tower. The semi-circular, 11 bay, Smith Memorial Building was built in 1903. It features four octagonal sides and a tower. The memorial building was designed by the architect Charles Christian Hook (1870-1938). The church and memorial building were connected and the older structures modified and renovated in 1938. Also located on the property is the First Presbyterian Church cemetery, established in 1831, after the first church was built on land that was donated by Jesse H. Lindsay. The church vacated the property in 1929, and in 1937-1938 it was renovated and enlarged as the Richardson Civic Center and donated to the city of Greensboro. It subsequently housed the Greensboro Public Library, the Greensboro Historical Museum, and the Greensboro Art Center. The historic building functions as one part of the current, larger Greenboro History Museum.
McClung Farm Historic District is a historic home and national historic district located at McDowell, Highland County, Virginia. The district encompasses seven contributing buildings, three contributing sites, and three contributing structures. The main house was built in 1844, and is a two-story, five bay, brick dwelling with a single-pile, central-passage plan and an original two-story rear addition in a vernacular Federal style. It has a three bay wide front porch. The contributing buildings and structures besides the house include: a large barn, a small barn, a cattle ramp, an outhouse, a corncrib, a smokehouse, a shed, and the Clover Creek Presbyterian Church and its outhouse. The contributing sites are a wood shed foundation, the ruins of the McClung Mill, and the Clover Creek Presbyterian Church cemetery.
North Danville Historic District is a national historic district located at Danville, Virginia. The district includes 426 contributing buildings in a primarily residential area of Danville. The district also includes three blocks of primarily two-story, brick commercial buildings. Buildings within the district were constructed from about 1880 to about 1955 and reflect a wide variety of architectural styles including vernacular Victorian, Italianate, Queen Ann, Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and Bungalow designs. Many of these buildings were built by Dan River Cotton Mills founder T.B. Fitzgerald. Notable buildings include the Calvary United Methodist Church (1886), Shelton Memorial Presbyterian Church (1889), Bellevue Public School (1898), Washington Street Methodist Episcopal Church (1910), Keen Street Baptist Church (1927), and Woodrow Wilson High School (1926).
The Old Scots Burying Ground is a historic cemetery located on Gordon's Corner Road in the Wickatunk section of Marlboro Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 15, 2001, for its significance in history and religion. The Old Scots Burying Ground is about an acre in size, about 195 feet above sea level and dates back to 1685. The total number of burials at the cemetery is not precisely known, suggested by Symms, "There are a large number of graves in Old Scots yard without any inscribed stones". Some reports place the number as at least 100 known graves with most headstones of brown sandstone. However, more recent research using ground penetrating radar reported by the Old Tennent Church in 2001 has put the number of confirmed sites at about 122 graves with a possible 140 more unmarked; placing the number at about 262 total graves in the cemetery. In 1945, in an attempt to clean out the site of vegetation and over-growth, a bulldozer was used on the property and as a result some headstones were dislodged and broken stones removed. The defining structure in the cemetery is a tall monument to Rev. John Boyd, created by the J&R Lamb Company. Built to commemorate the first recorded Presbyterian ordination of Rev. John Boyd. The monument is currently owned by the Synod of the Northeast who holds the property deed but it is maintained by the Old Tennent Church. The last identified burial was in 1977.
The B Avenue NE Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. At the time of its nomination it consisted of 210 resources, which included 167 contributing buildings, and 43 non-contributing buildings. This is a working and middle-class neighborhood northeast of the campus of Coe College. It includes single-family dwellings, a church, and a school. The buildings are representative of various architectural styles and vernacular building forms popular from c. 1875 to 1963. The oldest house was built in 1873 and moved here in the early 20th century. Bungalow, Craftsman, and American Foursquare houses are dominant. A simple side-tower church, originally Central Park Presbyterian Church, was built in 1904. For the most part, architect-designed buildings are a rarity here. The houses are designs from pattern books. Cedar Rapids architect William J. Brown designed Benjamin Franklin Junior High School (1923).
