Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim is a private skill university with campuses located in both Singtam and Bermiok, Sikkim. Founded in 2021 under the auspices of the Medhavi Foundation, it aims to deliver skill-based and job-oriented academic programs to students. The university is recognized by the UGC, the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). [1] [2]

The Bermiok campus, located at Ratamatey Thangsing, Barnyak-Barthang GPU, along with the Singtam campus, facilitates the university's vision by offering diverse educational programs and contributing significantly to the regional educational landscape. [3]

Vocational education is that form of instruction designed to prepare people for industrial or commercial employment. It can be acquired either formally in trade schools, technical secondary schools, or in on-the-job training programs or, more informally, by picking up the necessary skills on the job.

Parul University is a private university in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. Prior to its incorporation as Parul University under the Gujarat Private Universities Act Second Amendment of 2009, the University’s origins traces back to 1993, with the establishment of the Ahmedabad Homeopathic College. Parul University is situated on a 150-acre campus in Vadodara housing over 50,000 students and has a rich history of achievements, including being Gujarat’s first self-financed institute. National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit public limited company incorporated on July 31, 2008, under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (corresponding to section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013). NSDC was set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The Government of India through Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) holds 49% of the share capital of NSDC, while the private sector has the balance 51% of the share capital.
