Miffy and Friends (Dutch : Nijntje en haar vriendjes) is a Dutch stop-motion animated television series, based on the Miffy book series by Dutch artist Dick Bruna. [1] The series was co-produced by Mercis Media and Palm Plus Multimedia. The series was originally broadcast from 2003 until 2005 on KRO in the Netherlands [2]
The show focuses on the life of a young rabbit Miffy. The show is presented in a storybook style, with narration by Canadian actress/singer Cyd Vandenberg explaining the actions of non-speaking Miffy and her friends.
The series lasted for three seasons, consisting of 39 episodes. Each episode is made up of two segments. On Noggin, original math-based shorts aired between the two segments.

Production took place in the Netherlands. Big Tent Entertainment and Mercis BV produced the series in association with Palm Multimedia.
The series made its world premiere in the United Kingdom on CITV. [3] The series soon premiered in its home-country of the Netherlands on KRO in 2003. [4]
In the United States, the show was licensed by Big Tent Entertainment and aired on Noggin starting in April 2003. [5] [6] For the US airings, Noggin created original "interactive game" shorts to air between segments. [7] The series was later broadcast on local PBS stations, presented by WLIW, beginning in 2007. [8]
It also aired on Treehouse TV in Canada, [9] ABC Kids in Australia [10] and on TV3 in New Zealand.[ citation needed ]
During its run, several videotapes including episodes of the series were produced. The series was also made available on DVD in America through Sony Wonder and Big Tent Entertainment. [11] Select Miffy and Friends episodes were included on themed DVDs released in 2009. [12] In 2016, it was also available for streaming on the Noggin app.[ citation needed ]
As of 2024 [update] , Miffy and Friends is available to stream on Amazon Prime.
In 2015, a continuation of the series, Miffy's Adventures Big and Small , premiered on NPO Zappelin in the Netherlands and on Tiny Pop in the UK; it concluded on 15 June 2019.[ citation needed ]

"Treehouse of Horror", or "The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror", is the third episode of the second season of the American animated television series The Simpsons. It originally aired on Fox in the United States on October 25, 1990. The episode was inspired by 1950s horror comics, and begins with a disclaimer that it may be too scary for children. It is the first Treehouse of Horror episode. These episodes do not obey the show's rule of realism and are not treated as canon. The opening disclaimer and a panning shot through a cemetery with humorous tombstones were features that were used sporadically in the Treehouse of Horror series and eventually dropped. Oobi is an American children's television series produced by Little Airplane Productions for the Noggin channel. The show's concept is based on a training method used by puppeteers, in which they use their hands and a pair of glass eyes instead of a full puppet. The main character is a bare hand puppet named Oobi. The first season was a series of two-minute shorts. For its second and third seasons, it became a long-form series, with episodes lasting 13 minutes each. Kang and Kodos Johnson are a duo of fictional recurring characters in the animated television series The Simpsons. Kang is voiced by Harry Shearer and Kodos by Dan Castellaneta. Treehouse of Horror is a series of annual Halloween-themed anthology episodes of the American animated sitcom and spin-off of The Simpsons. A Walk in Your Shoes is an American educational television series that aired on the Noggin channel. The show documents the experiences of two different people who switch places for a day and learn how the other person lives. The show started out as a series of three shorts, which premiered on October 25, 1999, as part of Noggin's variety series Phred on Your Head Show. The first half-hour episode premiered on April 30, 2000, and the last episode aired on October 18, 2005.
Moose and Zee were a pair of fictional characters created for the Noggin brand. They debuted as the on-air hosts of the Noggin cable channel on April 7, 2003. In 2015, Noggin was relaunched as a mobile streaming service, and Moose and Zee were reintroduced as hosts of the app.
