The Miss North Dakota competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of North Dakota in the Miss America pageant. The first Miss North Dakota to compete at Miss America was Kitty Page in 1949. [1] In 2017, Cara Mund became the first North Dakotan to win the Miss America title, when she won the Miss America 2018 pageant. [2]

Contents

Sidni Kast of Minot was crowned Miss North Dakota on June 11, 2022, at Bakken Auditorium in Williston, North Dakota. She competed for the title of Miss America 2023 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut on December 16, 2022.

Cara D. Mund is an American attorney and former beauty pageant titleholder from Bismarck, North Dakota. In June 2017, she was crowned Miss North Dakota 2017. On September 10, 2017, she was crowned Miss America 2018 in Atlantic City and became the first contestant from North Dakota to win the competition.

Miss Teen USA 2018, the 36th Miss Teen USA pageant, was held on May 18, 2018, at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff of Missouri crowned Hailey Colborn of Kansas as her successor at the end of the event. She is the second entrant from Kansas to win the title after Keylee Sue Sanders won Miss Teen USA 1995.

Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2014 was the 8th Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant held at the Linda Chapin Theater in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on August 17, 2013. At the conclusion of the event, Rachel Wyatt of South Carolina crowned her successor Leah Sykes of Florida. Miss America 2013 Mallory Hytes Hagen was a host of the event.
