The Miss Arizona competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Arizona in the Miss America pageant. Arizona has twice won the Miss America title. The first Miss Arizona, Anna Marie Barnett, was crowned in 1938. [1]

Tiffany Ticlo of Chandler was crowned Miss Arizona 2023 at the Madison Center of the Arts in Phoenix, Arizona. She competed for the title of Miss America 2024 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida in January 2024.

Miss Wyoming is a state-level pageant which sends winners to compete for the title of Miss America. The competition, which awards scholarships, is open to women aged 19 through 28.

The Miss Oklahoma competition selects a winner to compete on behalf of Oklahoma in the Miss America pageant. Miss Oklahoma has won the Miss America crown on five occasions. Also, in the years when city representatives were common, Norma Smallwood won, competing as Miss Tulsa, giving the state of Oklahoma a total of six crowns. She is unique among pageant winners in that she was and still is the only Miss America who was also Miss Congeniality.

Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2017 was the 11th Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant held at Linda Chapin Theatre in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on August 6, 2016. Allie Nault of New Hampshire crowned her successor Nicole Jia of Oklahoma at the end of the program.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Miss America 2019</span> 92nd edition of the Miss America competition

Miss America 2019, the 92nd Miss America pageant, though the Miss America Organization celebrated its 98th anniversary in 2018. This discrepancy is due to national pageants not being held from 1928 to 1932 or in 1934 because of financial problems associated with the Great Depression. The 2019 competition was held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. On May 23, 2018, it was announced that the pageant would air live on ABC on Sunday, September 9, 2018. This was the last Miss America to be aired on ABC before would be moving to NBC beginning from 2020 pageant.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2010</span>

Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2010 was the 5th Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant held at the Linda Chapin Theatre in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on August 15, 2009. Taylor Hanna Fitch of South Carolina crowned her successor Jeanette Morelan of Wisconsin at the end of the event. This was the first time that Miss Wisconsin's Outstanding Teen captured the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen. Miss America 2009 Katie Stam was an emcee for the pageant.

The Miss America 2020 competition was held on Thursday, December 19, 2019. This was the 93rd Miss America pageant/competition, though the Miss America Organization celebrated its 99th anniversary in 2019. This discrepancy is due to national pageants not being held from 1928 to 1932 or in 1934 because of financial problems associated with the Great Depression.
