Montgomery is an underground station on the Brussels Metro, the first station on the eastern branch of line 1 (formerly line 1B), in the Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium. The station also serves a number of tram lines and buses: Brussels tram routes 7 and 25 pass through, and 39 and 44 terminate there, while tram route 81 and a number of buses stop at surface level.[ citation needed ]
The metro station opened on 30 January 1975 and is named after the roundabout above (Square Maréchal Montgomery/Maarschalk Montgomeryplein), which in turn was named after Field Marshal Montgomery. It is located in the municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre (Sint-Pieters-Woluwe).
The trams' entrance is from the Rue du Duc/Hertogstraat; they exit to the Avenue de Tervueren/Tervurenlaan. The walls of the station are decorated with a large fresco by Jean-Michel Folon titled Magic City. [1]
Woluwe-Saint-Pierre or Sint-Pieters-Woluwe is one of the 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium. Located in the eastern part of the region, it is bordered by Etterbeek, Auderghem and Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, as well as the Flemish municipalities of Kraainem and Tervuren. Merode is a railway and metro station in Brussels, Belgium. It lies in the municipality of Etterbeek, near the border between Etterbeek, the City of Brussels and Schaerbeek. Crainhem (French) or Kraainem (Dutch) is a Brussels Metro station on the eastern branch of line 1. It is located in the municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, in the eastern part of Brussels, Belgium. It is located near the intersection of the Avenue de Wezembeek/Wezembeeklaan, the Avenue Mounier/Mounierlaan, and the Avenue de Kraainem/Kraainemlaan. It has a large park-and-ride lot and is also the terminus for a number of inbound regional bus routes of De Lijn, as well as for the STIB/MIVB bus routes 30 and 31.

The Greater Ring or Intermediate Ring in Brussels, Belgium is a set of roads in the shape of a ring, intermediate between the Small Ring and the main Brussels Ring motorway. Since March 14, 2011 the newly formed tram 7 follows the same route as tram 23, but with a much higher frequency. Because of the frequency being brought up to 'metro' level, its line number was altered to the lower regions, for those are the metro and so-called 'Chrono' tramlines. Tram 24 was also taken over completely by the newly formed tram 7.
Tram route 81 in Brussels, Belgium, is a tram route operated by STIB/MIVB, which connects the Marius Renard stop in the municipality of Anderlecht with the multimodal Montgomery metro station in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre. The route also crosses the municipalities of Saint-Gilles, Ixelles, the City of Brussels and Etterbeek. It connects with the Metro at Saint-Guidon/Sint Guido, Brussels-South, Merode and Montgomery. The route also crosses the major tram routes 3 and 4 at Horta. A good deal of its length is in carriageway, while long sections at either end are in reservation. It has a short section in tunnel at Brussels-South.

Woluwe-Saint-Lambert or Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe is one of the 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium. In common with all of Brussels' municipalities, it is legally bilingual (French–Dutch). In French, it is often spelt Woluwé-Saint-Lambert to reflect the Frenchified pronunciation of what was originally a Dutch place name, but the official spelling is without an accent. The Woluwe stream, from which it takes its name, flows through the municipality.
Boileau is a premetro station located in the municipality of Etterbeek in Brussels, Belgium. The station opened on 30 January 1975. Named for the nearby Rue Boileau/Boileaustraat, it is situated on the Boulevard Saint-Michel/Sint-Michielslaan section of the Greater Ring, adjacent to the Boileau tunnel. It is the southernmost and last of the four stations on the Greater Ring premetro, connected by Montgomery metro station to the north and the street-level tram halts at Pétillon metro station to the south. Named for the Avenue Georges Henri/Georges Henrilaan, which runs perpendicular to the Greater Ring at the south end of the station, it is located on the Boulevard Brand Whitlock/Brand Whitlocklaan section of the Greater Ring. It is the second of four stations on the Greater Ring premetro, connected by Diamant premetro station to the north and Montgomery metro station to the south.
