Gomersal is a town in Kirklees in the metropolitan county of West Yorkshire, England. It is south of Bradford, east of Cleckheaton, north of Heckmondwike and close to the River Spen. It was originally divided into 'Great Gomersal' and Little Gomersal which has retained its diminutive. Gomersal forms part of the Heavy Woollen District.

It is mostly in the Batley and Spen parliamentary constituency, and had an estimated population of 17,066 in March 2001, reducing to 16,986 at the 2011 Census. Heckmondwike forms part of the Heavy Woollen District.

Todmorden Unitarian Church is a Unitarian church located in Honey Hole Road, Todmorden, West Yorkshire, England. Built in honour of John Fielden, a local mill owner and a social reformer, the church was completed in 1869. It was declared redundant in 1987 and came under the care of the Historic Chapels Trust. Since 2008, regular services have been held in the building, but it remains in the care of the Trust. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building,
West Park United Reformed Church is located in the West Park area of Harrogate, England, and is a Grade II listed building. It was designed in Nonconformist Gothic style as West Park Congregational Church by Lockwood & Mawson and completed in 1862 for around £5,000. Along with Belvedere Mansion across the road, it was intended as part of the prestigious entrance to the Victoria Park development. For the Congregationalists it was meant to house an increasing congregation of visitors brought to the spa town by the recently-built railways. It became a United Reformed church in 1972.

Heckmondwike ward contains 19 listed buildings that are recorded in the National Heritage List for England. Of these, two are listed at Grade II*, the middle of the three grades, and the others are at Grade II, the lowest grade. The listed buildings include houses, churches, a former chapel and associated structures, a public house, a Masonic hall, cemetery buildings, a drinking fountain and clock tower, a bank, a former Sunday school, a shop, and a pair of telephone kiosks.
Liversedge is a town and Gomersal is a village, and together with the surrounding area they form a ward in the metropolitan borough of Kirklees, West Yorkshire, England. The ward contains 63 listed buildings that are recorded in the National Heritage List for England. Of these, five are listed at Grade II*, the middle of the three grades, and the others are at Grade II, the lowest grade. In addition to Liversedge and Gomersal, the ward contains the settlements of Hartshead, Hightown, and Roberttown and the surrounding countryside. Most of the listed buildings are houses and associated structures, and farmhouses and farm buildings. There is a Moravian settlement in Gomersal, and some of its buildings are listed. The other listed buildings include churches and chapels and items in churchyards, a cross base, a public house, an obelisk, a mounting block and two sets of stocks, boundary stones, a public hall, and two former toll houses.
