Indoor soccer or arena soccer is a five-a-side or six-a-side version of minifootball, derived from association football and adapted to be played in walled hardcourt indoor arena. Indoor soccer, as it is most often known in the United States and Canada, was originally developed in these two countries as a way to play soccer during the winter months, when snow would make outdoor play difficult. In those countries, gymnasiums are adapted for indoor soccer play. In other countries the game is played in either indoor or outdoor arenas surrounded by walls, and is referred to by different names.
Albuquerque Asylum was an American soccer team based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. Founded in 2004, the team was a member of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a national amateur league at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The team is currently on hiatus from the NPSL due to a lack of teams in the Southwest Division.

There is also a Major League Soccer (MLS) team based in the Denver metro area, but they do not play their home games in the city of Denver and is located in nearby Commerce City.

The PASL was previously known as the Federation of Sports Arenas (FSA). The PASL logo formerly belonged to what is now the Major Arena Soccer League.

MASL is the highest level of arena soccer in North America. The league draw talent from a global talent pool with players from MLS, LigaMX and many national teams. With a new management team, the league has grown in popularity and commercially. Former USMNT and MLS star Landon Donovan played in MASL as do multiple international players.

The PASL-Pro is the largest indoor soccer league, hosting 21 teams spreading from Canada, the United States of America, and the Mexico. All US soccer clubs were invited to play in the United States Open Cup for Arena Soccer which 25 PASL-Pro and PASL-Premier teams, respectively, played in, as well as future PASL-Pro team, the San Diego Sockers.

The 2012–13 Las Vegas Legends season was the first season of the Las Vegas Legends indoor soccer club. The Legends, a Southwestern Division team in the Professional Arena Soccer League, played the majority of their home games in the Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The team was led by team president and general manager Meir Cohen, head coach Greg Howes, plus assistant coaches Peter Sharkey and Patrick Lawrence.

The Express, a Pacific Division team in the Professional Arena Soccer League, played their home games in the Turlock Soccer Complex in Turlock, California. The team was led by head coach Art Pulido.

The regular season started on November 1, 2013, and ended on February 16, 2014. After regional playoffs in late February, the three regional winners and host Chicago Mustangs competed at the Sears Centre for the Ron Newman Cup on March 15–16, 2014. The Mustangs capped a perfect season by winning the league championship.

Saltillo Rancho Seco is a Mexican professional indoor soccer team based in Saltillo, the capital of the northern Mexican state of Coahuila. Since 2011, Saltillo has been a member of the Liga Mexicana de Futbol Rápido Profesional (LMFR) and in November 2013 began play in the Central Division of the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL). With the PASL's absorption of 6 former MISL teams, the league changed its name to the Major Arena Soccer League and the team moved to the new Southern division.
The 2013–14 Toros Mexico season was the fifth season of the Toros Mexico professional indoor soccer club and second under the "Toros Mexico" name. The Toros, a Pacific Division team in the Professional Arena Soccer League, played their home games in the UniSantos Park in Tijuana, Mexico. The team was led by owner and head coach Joe Pollard with assistant coach Cristian Acosta.
FC Denver is an American Soccer Club based in Denver, Colorado. The club plays in the Colorado Premier League and participates in regional and national tournaments the U.S. Open Cup, The Las Vegas Silver Mug, and Colorado State Cup tournaments. Previously, the club participated in the Premier Arena Soccer League between 2012 and 2014. The club has five men's teams. Although the club's crest honors the colors of Denver's city flag, the club wears its traditional colors of green, white, and black.
