The Office of Literature and Art of Resistance or Resistance's Office of Literature and Art of the Artistic Sect is a governmental institution in Iran. The Office of Literature and Art of Resistance began its activities in December 1988 in Iran in the Artistic Sect of the Islamic Republic, a branch of Islamic Development Organization, motivated by collecting, compiling, and writing literary, artistic, research works, and memories left behind by the Iranian people's eight-year defense period in the "Iran-Iraq War". Now, the result of "20 years" of continuous activity of the office, is a collection of "565 book titles", "5 quarterly issues", programs and expert opinions, lectures and interviews, and most importantly, the cultivation of a generation of writers and researchers who have grown up in the office or have learned from the office's methods, character, style and expertise, in continuous contact with it, and have contributed to the establishment and activities of similar centers and with the same scope. Many of the office's works have been met with public acclaim and republished over the years, and have received various awards and certificates of appreciation from various circles, festivals, and ceremonies. [1] [4]
From the beginning, the office's approach to the subject of Iran–Iraq war and its literature has been specialized, a tangible manifestation of this is the thematic separation of its books from the beginning of publication. [1] [4]
As the volume of the office's activities grew, the specialized and thematic units gradually took on a more tangible form, and various sub-branches such as "Women" and "Veterans" were added to them, or their activities were stopped after a period of time. Now, in addition to the independent expertise of individuals, the following units pursue the office's major specialized activities: [1] [4]
Operation Samen-ol-A'emeh was an Iranian offensive and operation in the Iran–Iraq War between 27–29 September 1981 where Iran broke the Iraqi Siege of Abadan. The operation was carried out by the Iranian army joined by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

The Kowsar Women Football League is a women's football league, run by the Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran. At the top of the Iranian football league system, it is the country's primary competition for the sport. It was established in 2007.
I'm Alive is a book written by Masoumeh Abad about her memories in the Iran–Iraq war (1980–1988). Masoumeh, who was 17 at the time, was a social worker in a field hospital and in medical clinics for the Iranian Red Crescent Society during the war. The English translation of I'm Alive launched on the Frankfurt Book Fair. I'm Alive has received the Sacred Defense Book of The Year award has been reprinted many times in Iran. The idea for writing the novel came to Abad in 2012.

Ahad Gudarziani or Ahmad Gudarziani, is a writer, researcher and journalist who is known for his resistance literature works in Iran. He was honored at the Second and Third Celebration of Sacred Defense Journalists and Writers Conference for his works as Exemplary Writer and Reporter.
Baba Nazar is a book written by Hossein Beyzayi and edited by Mostafa Rahimi and Ahmad Dehqan. The book is the result of oral interviews with Mohammad Hassan Nazarenejad, during which the narrator recounts his stories about Iranian Revolution and Iran–Iraq War. Mohammad Hassan Nazarenejad known as Baba Nazar, the narrator of this book, was in the Iran–Iraq War for 140 months who died eight years after the war because of war injuries, in 1997.
Majid Gheisari is an Iranian writer and novelist. He has won the International Eurasia Award from Russia for the premier novel in 2018.
Mohammad Doroudian is an Iranian writer, historian, researcher and theorist. Doroudian was born on 1959 in Tehran, and actively writes about the history of the Iran-Iraq War. He holds a BA in History from Shahid Beheshti University. More than seventeen books have been published by Mohammad Doroudian so far. He is one of the elect of the 31st Iran's Book of the Year Awards and the winner of the 8th Holy Defense Year Book Award.

Hamid Reza Shekarsari is an Iranian poet, researcher, author and literary critic. He has published more than 20 volumes of poetry and literary research.
Davoud Amirian, is a contemporary Iranian writer. He has published more than 26 books and won several awards. He is currently working on writing memoirs, children's and adolescent literature, novels, comics, biographies of martyrs and screenwriting.
Esmaeel Azar or Amir Esmaeel Azar is a professor of Persian literature and director of the Department of Persian Language at the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran, and director of the Farhangban Cultural and Artistic Institute. He also works as a presenter on literary programs on Iranian television, including the "Watching the Oath and the Beginning of the Word". He is a member of the Art commission at the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, Director of the Persian Literature Department at the Economic Cooperation Organization, Member of the Naming Committee at the National Organization for Civil Registration of Iran, member of the scientific commissions of the Public Libraries of Iran and a member of the board of directors of the Comparative Literature Association of Iran.
Fathollah Mojtabaei is an Iranian author and historian. He is a permanent member of Academy of Persian Language and Literature and a member of the faculty of the Center for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia.
The Foundation for the Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense Works and Values is one of the institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the aim of preserving the relics and disseminating the values of the Sacred Defense and promoting the culture of resistance, self-sacrifice, jihad and martyrdom. It was established by order of the Supreme Leader of Iran at the end of Iran-Iraq war in October 1990. This foundation is headed by Sardar Bahman Kargar and its parent department is General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
