The Old Jail is a historic jail in St. Augustine, Florida. It is located at 167 San Marco Avenue. On August 27, 1987, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The St. Johns County Jail now serves as the Old Jail Museum.
The Noble County Sheriff's House and Jail, also known as the Old Jail Museum, is a historic jail and residence located in Albion, Noble County, Indiana. It was built in 1875 by Thomas J. Tolan and Son, Architects of Fort Wayne, Indiana. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, red brick building with combined Second Empire and Gothic Revival style design elements. It features round-arched windows, a three-story projecting entrance tower, and a mansard roof.
The Darke County Courthouse, Sheriff's House and Jail are three historic buildings located at 504 South Broadway just south of West 4th Street in Greenville, Ohio. On December 12, 1976, the three buildings of the present courthouse complex were added to the National Register of Historic Places.
The Old Indiana County Courthouse is a former courthouse located in Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The courthouse was built between 1869 and 1870 and designed by local architect James W. Drum. It was the second courthouse to serve the county, with the first demolished in 1868. The final cost of the project was $150,000. A dedication ceremony took place on December 19, 1870. Former Governor of Pennsylvania William F. Johnston spoke at the ceremony.

An office addition was added to the jail in 1974.
The Dickinson County Courthouse and Jail is an historic complex of governmental buildings located at 700 South Stephenson Avenue in Iron Mountain, Michigan. On May 15, 1980, the complex was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
The Van Wert County Courthouse is a historic governmental building in downtown Van Wert, Ohio, United States. Located at 121 E. Main Street, the courthouse is a Second Empire structure built in 1876. It is Van Wert County's third courthouse: when the county was established, the village of Willshire was designated the county seat; Van Wert was made the seat in 1838, and a courthouse-and-jail complex was built in that community in the following year.

The courthouse was built between 1883 and 1885, and is a 3 1/2-story, brick Victorian structure with Classical details measuring 78 feet, 8 inches, wide and 134 feet deep. It has a 213 foot tall, 25 feet square, clock tower. The jail was built between 1873 and 1875, and is a half brick / half sandstone building, located behind the courthouse.

The district includes 86 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Indiana. The district includes notable examples of buildings in the Italianate, Second Empire, and Queen Anne styles. Notable buildings include the Federal-style William Houston House, Clawson Hotel, Thomas Sutton House, Calvary Presbyterian Church, Zion Lutheran Church, First United Presbyterian Church, and First Methodist Episcopal Church. The contributing site is Memorial Park, established as a burial ground in the early 19th century. Located in the district and listed separately are the Silas M. Clark House, James Mitchell House, Old Indiana County Courthouse, Indiana Borough 1912 Municipal Building, Indiana Armory, and Old Indiana County Jail and Sheriff's Office.
The Calaveras County Courthouse is a historic courthouse building in San Andreas, California. The brick courthouse was built in 1867 and contained the county's courtroom, jail, and sheriff's office; until 1888, executions were also conducted in the building. The county's Hall of Records was built in front of the courthouse in 1893; the two buildings nearly touch and are considered part of the same complex. The building's jail held outlaw Black Bart, a notorious Northern California highwayman, during his 1883 trial. In 1966, the county moved its courthouse to a new building; the old courthouse is now the Calaveras County Museum, which is operated by the Calaveras County Historical Society.
The first Kosciusko County Jail was built in 1837 of 14 inches (36 cm) square logs. It was two stories tall with a trap door from the second story floor to access the ground floor. The next jail was made of brick. Like the first jail, it was located on Courthouse Square. By 1869 this second structure was in serious need of repair. Frequent jail breaks from the second jail, led the county to hire George Garnsey of Chicago to design a new jail. The most notable jailbreak resulted when prisoners pushed bricks out of the wall.
Hendricks County Jail and Sheriff's Residence, also known as Hendricks County Museum, is a historic home and jail located at Danville, Hendricks County, Indiana. It was built in 1866–1867, and is a two-story, Second Empire style brick building with a three-story square tower. It has a slate mansard roof and segmental arched openings. It consists of the former Sheriff's residence in front and a one-story rear wing with later additions containing the jail. The building has housed the Hendricks County Museum since 1974.
Jefferson County Jail, also known as Jefferson County Jail and Sheriffs House, is a historic jail and residence located at Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana. It was built between 1848 and 1850, and is a two-story, rectangular Greek Revival style masonry building. The building consists of two blocks: a residential section in front and jail block at the rear. A kitchen wing was added in 1859. It features a classic pedimented gable temple front with a recessed entrance and pilasters.
Lake County Sheriff's House and Jail, also known as the Sheriff's House, is a historic jail and residence located at 226 South Main Street in Crown Point, Lake County, Indiana. It was built in 1882, and is a two-story, Second Empire style brick building. It has a three-story projecting tower and a mansard roof. It features a one-story, flat roofed porch with Tuscan order columns added about 1890. The building remained in use as a residence until 1958 and as a jail until 1974. The building is maintained and open to the public by the Old Sheriff's House Foundation.
Tipton County Jail and Sheriff's Home is a historic combined jail and sheriff's residence located at Tipton, Tipton County, Indiana. It was designed by Adolph Scherrer who also designed the 1888 Indiana State Capitol and Tipton County Courthouse and built in 1894–1895. It is constructed of red brick with stone trim and consists of a 2+1⁄2-story residence and two-story jail section. The residence has a hip on gable roof, the jail a hipped roof, and there is a three-story tower located between the two sections.
Vermillion County Jail and Sheriff's Residence is a historic combined jail and sheriff's residence located at Newport, Vermillion County, Indiana. The Sheriff's Residence was built in 1868, and is a two-story, Italianate style brick dwelling. It rests on a raised limestone foundation and has a steep hipped roof. It features round and segmental arched window openings and a full-width front porch. Attached to it is a two-story, vernacular Romanesque Revival style jail block of rusticated limestone. The jail block was designed by architect John W. Gaddis and added in 1896.
Old Warrick County Jail is a historic jail located in Boonville, Indiana. It was built in 1877, and is a two-story, Italianate style red brick building. It consists of the hipped roof former sheriff's residence at the front with the 1+1⁄2-story jail at the rear.
The Old Vanderburgh County Jail, commonly referred to as "the Old Jail," was built in 1890 in Evansville, Indiana. The Old Jail is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Old Jail consists of two different structures that are attached: (1) the actual jail and (2) the former Vanderburgh County sheriff's residence.
The Genesee County Courthouse is a government building located at 920 South Saginaw Street in Flint, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
