Malappuram,is one of the 14 districts in the Indian state of Kerala,with a coastline of 70 km (43 mi). The most populous district of Kerala,Malappuram is home to around 13% of the total population of the state. The district was formed on 16 June 1969,spanning an area of about 3,554 km2 (1,372 sq mi). Malappuram is situated 54 km southeast of Calicut and 90 km northwest of Palakkad. It is the first Indian municipal body to provide free Wi-Fi connectivity to its entire residents. Malappuram is also the first Indian municipal body to achieve the International Organization for Standardization certificate. It is also the first complaint-free municipality in the state.
Kudallur is in the Palakkad district of Kerala. It is in Pattambi taluk,bordering Malappuram district,also on the banks of Bharathapuzha. The Bharathappuzha river separates Kudallur from Kuttippuram town in Malappuram district. Kudallur is a part of Thrithala and Ponnani.

Perinthalmanna is a major town and municipality in Malappuram district,Kerala,India. It serves as the administrative centre for the Perinthalmanna taluk,as well as a revenue division,a community development block,and a police sub-division bearing the same name. It was formerly the headquarters of Valluvanad Taluk,which was one of the two Taluks in the Malappuram Revenue Division of the erstwhile Malabar District during the British Raj. The city is located 23 kilometres (14 mi) southwest of the city of Malappuram at the centre of the Kozhikode–Malappuram–Perinthalmanna–Palakkad National Highway 966.
K. Avukader Kutty Naha (1920–1988) was an Indian politician and social worker who served as the Minister of Local Administration in various Kerala Governments from 1968 to 1979. As an Indian Union Muslim League minister in the 1967–1969 Namboodiripad ministry,Naha oversaw the creation of the Malappuram District in central Kerala (1969). Naha,with minister M. N. Govindan Nair and official C. K. Kochukoshy,also devised the 'One Lakh Houses' scheme in Kerala.
Kadakampally Surendran is an Indian politician,who served as the Minister for Co-Operation,Tourism,and Devaswom in the first Pinarayi Vijayan ministry (2016–2021) of the Government of Kerala. He was the Thiruvananthapuram District Committee Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) for nearly a decade (2007–2016).

Chakkeeri Ahamed Kutty (1915–1993) was an Indian politician and social worker from Indian Union Muslim League who served as the Minister for Education from 1973 to 1977 in the coalition government headed by Communist Party of India Chief Minister C. Achutha Menon. He later served as the Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly from 1977 to 1980.

The Kuttippuram Block Panchayat is the block-level administrative body that administers the region around Kuttippuram in Malappuram district,Kerala,India. It is also one of the 15 Block Panchayats established for the proper block-level administration of Gram panchayats in the district. Established in 1962,the block's current president is Vaseema Veleri since 2020. Kuttippuram Block Panchayat lies in two assembly constituencies –Kottakkal and Tirur –both of which are part of the Ponnani parliamentary constituency. The Block is headed by a President and council,and manages 155.83 km2 of Kuttippuram block,with a population of about 229,468 within that area.
