Panathinaikos AC Women's Volleyball Team is a Greek volleyball team, part of the major Athens-based multi-sport club Panathinaikos A.O. The department was founded in 1969 and is the most successful women's volleyball team in Greece, in terms of Greek Championships won. They have won a record 26 [1] Championships, 6 Cups, with 5 Doubles, while they hold the record for finishing undefeated the Championship 8 times (1971-1973, 1978, 1991, 1992, 1993, 2007). They hold also the record of 68 straight wins in the league including the play-offs.
They have also reached four times a European final four and two times a European final (2000 and 2009). The team currently plays in Maroussi Saint Thomas Indoor Hall.
In 2017, the club was relegated due to serious financial problems. They stayed inactive in the 2017–18 season.
Apart from the Greek players, who have traditionally been the backbone of Greece's national team, some of the greatest players in European volleyball that have played for the team over the years include Ruxandra Dumitrescu, Brižitka Molnar, Tammy Mahon, Jelena Lozancic, Olga Tocko, María Fernández, Sanja Tomasević and others.
The club has retired the jersey number 9 in honour of the team's legendary captain Ruxandra Dumitrescu.

Panathinaikos Athlitikos Omilos, also known simply as Panathinaikós, is a major Greek multi-sport club based in the City of Athens. Panathinaikos is one of the most successful multi-sport clubs and one of the oldest clubs in Greece. The name "Panathinaikos" was inspired by the ancient work of Isocrates Panathenaicus, where the orator praise the Athenians for their democratic education and their military superiority, which use it for benefit of all Greeks.
Panathinaikos V.C., also known simply as Panathinaikos, or with its full name Panathinaikos A.O. is the professional volleyball team of the major Athens based multi-sport club Panathinaikos A.O. Founded in 1919, it is one of the oldest and most successful volleyball clubs in Greece. They have won 20 Greek Championships finishing 6 times undefeated, 6 Greek Cups, 3 Greek League Cups and 2 Greek Super Cups. They have reached also twice the CEV Cup final.
The Serbia women's national volleyball team is governed by the Volleyball Federation of Serbia and takes part in international volleyball competitions.
Nikolaos "Nikos" Pappas is a Greek former professional basketball player who last played for Panathinaikos of the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague. He stands at 1.95 m meters of height and plays at the shooting guard-small forward positions.
The Greek women's Volleyball Cup began in the 1998–99 season and is organized by Hellenic Volleyball Federation (ΕΟΠΕ). So far, seven clubs have won the cup. Olympiacos is the most successful club in the competition with 10 titles. Olympiacos are the current cup holders.
AEK Women's Volleyball Club is the women's volleyball section of the major Greek multi-sport club of AEK. It was founded in 1995 and has won one Greek Championship (2011–12), one Greek Cup (2022–23), and one Greek Super Cup (2011–12).
Vasileios "Vasilis" Kournetas is a retired Greek volleyball player. A long-standing member of Greece men's national volleyball team, he played in more than 270 games with the Greek team and he competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, finishing at the fifth place. He played in Greece for Olympiacos Piraeus, PAOK, E.A. Patras, Foinikas Syros V.C. and Filia Ilioupolis as well as in Russia for Lokomotiv Belgorod. He announced his retirement from volleyball courts on 5 May 2016. As a key member of Olympiacos for 14 years he won 1 CEV Cup, 7 Greek Championships, 6 Greek Cups, 1 Greek Super Cup and reached the final of the 2001–02 CEV Champions League with the Reds. He also won the 2012 Greek League Cup with Foinikas Syros as well as 2 Greek Championships and 1 Greek Cup with PAOK in the two final seasons of his professional career (2014-2016).
Andreas-Dimitrios Frangos is a Greek male volleyball player. He is part of the Greece men's national volleyball team. On club level, he currently plays for the Greek club Panathinaikos.
Achilleas Papadimitriou is a former Greek volleyball player. He was part of the Greece men's national volleyball team. He competed at the 2009 Men's European Volleyball Championship. He played for the Olympiacos club between 2007 and 2009 and for the Panathinaikos club between 2009 and 2011.
The esports department of Panathinaikos was established on 29 December 2016. In order to launch the team, the club partnered with CowboyTV, a local game tournament organiser and owner of professional eSports team Void Gaming. The latter will remain active as the youth academy and official scrim partner of the club for League of Legends.
Maria Nomikou is a female professional volleyball player from Greece, who used to be a member of the Greece women's national volleyball team.
Manolina Konstantinou is a Cypriot female professional volleyball player, who is a member of Panathinaikos and the Cyprus women's national volleyball team. Konstantinou is also an accomplished beach volley player and won the silver medal at the 2017 Games of the Small States of Europe along with teammate Mariota Angelopoulou.
Michalis Alexandropoulos is a retired Greek male indoor volleyball and beach volleyball player. As an indoor volleyball player, he played most notably for Olympiacos (2002–2005), with whom he won 1 Greek Championship (2002−03) and the 2005 CEV Top Teams Cup and for Aris Thessaloniki, with whom he won 1 Greek Championship (1996–97) and 1 Greek Super Cup (1997). Alexandropoulos had 16 caps with Greece men's national volleyball team.
Panathinaikos futsal is the futsal department of the Greek multisport club Panathinaikos.
Despina Georgiadou is a Greek sabre fencer. She won the silver medal in the women's sabre event at the 2023 World Fencing Championships held in Milan, Italy. Previously, she had won one of the bronze medals in the women's sabre event at the 2022 World Fencing Championships held in Cairo, Egypt. She won a silver medal in World Cup 2022 in Hammamet, Tunisia, a gold medal in World Cup 2023 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and a bronze bedal in World Cup 2023 in Algiers, Algeria. She has also won the gold medal in the Grand Prix of Orléans, France, 2021, the bronze medal in the Grand Prix of Orléans, France, 2022, and the gold medal in the Grand Prix of Tunis, Tunisia, 2023. She has reached a highest end-of-season ranking No 3 in sabre in 2021/2022 season and a highest ranking No 2 in March 2023. The latter is the highest ranking ever reached by a Greek fencer.
Panathinaikos Athletic Club People with Disabilities is the parasports department of the Greek sports club Panathinaikos, established on 3 December 2018. Its aim is to enable people with disabilities to compete in sports.

Panathinaikos AC women's football is a Greek team, part of the major Athens-based multi-sport club Panathinaikos A.O. It was first founded in 1980 and operated until 1982. In its short presence, it produced the athletes who starred in the following years, who were decisive factors for the development of women's football in Greece. On June 30, 2021, the reactivation of the department was officially announced.
