Patratu railway station is a small railway station in Ramgarh district, Jharkhand. Its code is PTRU. It serves Patratu town. The station consists of a two-platform.[ citation needed ] The platform is sheltered. It has facilities including water and sanitation but are not well maintained. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, formerly known as Mughalsarai Junction, is a railway station in the town of Mughalsarai in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The station contains the largest railway marshaling yard in Asia. This yard caters to around 450–500 trains in a month. All trains, including premium category Vande Bharat, Rajdhani and Duronto trains, halt at this station, which makes it unique in the entire Indian Railways network. The Silchar–Secunderabad Express is a Superfast Express train operated by Northeast Frontier Railway zone of Indian Railways that runs between Silchar, Assam and Secunderabad, Telangana via Guwahati. The train is currently being operated with 12513/12514 numbers on a weekly basis. Earlier this train was run between Guwahati and Secunderabad. From 21 October 2023, the train is being extended up to Silchar.

The Diesel Locomotive Factory, Marhowrah is a joint venture of GE Transportation, part of American company Wabtec, with Indian Railways for the production of 1000 high-power freight locomotives over a period of 10 years designed to run on Indian railway tracks. This factory is located at Marhaura and started manufacturing the locomotives from September 2018.
