Peter Pan: Adventures in Never Land (also known as Peter Pan in Disney's Return to Never Land in North America) is an adventure game which is based on the Disney cartoon character Peter Pan. These two games were released in 2002. One released for the PlayStation and Windows (and later-released on PSN), and the other for the Game Boy Advance.

Plot

Captain Hook is after some hidden treasure, and it is up to Peter Pan and Tinker Bell to reach the treasure first.

Gameplay

The game is a 3rd-person perspective side-scroller. Peter can fly, as well as use a knife, pixie dust or panpipes. In between levels, players can use the game's currency (feathers) to buy items from an Indian shop.

Reception

Metacritic has a rating of 52% based on 5 critic reviews. [2] IGN gave the game a 5.3, writing "anyone who has already hit puberty should feed this one to the crocodiles". [3]

Jake and the Never Land Pirates is an American animated musical and interactive preschool children's television series shown on Disney Junior. Based on Disney's Peter Pan franchise, this was the first Disney Junior original show following the switch from Playhouse Disney. It stars Sean Ryan Fox, Megan Richie, Jadon Sand, Kirsten Newlands, David Arquette, Corey Burton, Jeff Bennett, Loren Hoskins and Dee Bradley Baker. The title character Jake was previously voiced by Colin Ford, and then later by Cameron Boyce. Izzy was voiced for the first three seasons by Madison Pettis and Kirsten Newlands. Disney Universe is a co-operative action-adventure video game developed by Eurocom and published by Disney Interactive Studios. The game was released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 in October 2011 in North America and Europe. It features the ability to suit up as characters from multiple Disney franchises, including Aladdin, The Lion King, Monsters, Inc., WALL-E, Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Caribbean, Phineas and Ferb, Tron: Legacy and The Muppet Show. Disney Infinity is a 2013 toys-to-life action-adventure game published by Disney Interactive Studios. It was announced on January 15, 2013. The game used collectible figurines that were then synchronized with the game, unlocking characters from Disney and Pixar properties that interact and go on adventures. The game was released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS in August 2013. A PC version of Toy Box was also released on November 14, 2013. The game had a budget approaching $100 million. A sequel, Disney Infinity 2.0, was released on September 23, 2014. Monsters, Inc. is a 2001 platform game based on the 2001 film of the same name released for Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and PlayStation 2. The Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance versions of the game were released in October 26, 2001 in North America and in February 1, 2002 in Europe. The PlayStation 2 version was only released in North America in March 20, 2002. The Game Boy Advance version was also released on a Twin Pack cartridge bundled with Finding Nemo in 2005.

Peter Pan is a Disney media franchise based on J. M. Barrie's original 1904 play and 1911 novel, which officially commenced with the 1953 theatrical film Peter Pan. The spin-off film series Tinker Bell has continued this franchise into the 21st century.
