Plano Christian Academy (PCA) was a private, Classical, non-denominational Christian school supporting grades K-12. Located in Plano, Texas, PCA utilized the Trivium, a three-stage integrative and cyclical approach to learning that introduces students to many of the influential works that shaped Western civilization.

History

Plano Christian Academy was a Christian school with small classes of ten students maximum, block scheduling, shorter hours, spiritual development, and individual attention. It opened its doors on the campus of the University of Gymnastics in Plano, Texas in August, 2003 with 19 students in grades 411. It also accepted the students from the East Plano Christian Academy closed in 2003.

Enrollment increased to 45 students by August, 2004. During the 2004-05 school year, the school developed a long-term vision to be a prominent school in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. With this in mind, the school transitioned to a Classical model of education and secured new facilities on the campus of the First Christian Church of Plano. The school began its third year in August, 2005 with an enrollment of 60 students supporting grades 112.

The school closed in the spring of 2010.

Its main campus, the Arlington Campus, has a building at 2201 West Park Row Drive in Arlington and a 57,000-square-foot (5,300 m2) high school building at 2221 West Park Row Drive in Pantego. The Arlington Campus has 670 students in grades pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The system also operates the Mansfield Campus at 2351 Country Club Drive in Mansfield which teaches 143 students from age 3 through grade 5. The Mansfield campus closed its doors in 2020 and now all students attend the Arlington campus.

Graham Field is a baseball park located on the campus of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, and was the home of the TCL Plano Blue Sox for the 2006 season. The team was one of the original members of the Texas Collegiate League as the Highland Park Blue Sox in 2004 and 2005 before moving to Plano. The main tenants of Graham Field are the Prestonwood Christian Academy Lions baseball team.
