Poecilimon thoracicus, also known as the bellied bright bush-cricket, ^[1] is a species of bush cricket, family Tettigoniidae. ^{[1] [3] [4]} It occurs on the southern Balkan Peninsula. ^{[1] [3]}

The species is nocturnal. ^[5] It inhabits meadows, forest edges, and clearings. ^[1]
