Pycnanthemum floridanum, the Florida mountainmint, is a perennial herb in the mint family that is endemic to Florida and Georgia.
P. floridanum grows erect, square stems that are 1 to 3 feet in height. Leaves measure 2 to 4 inches in length and are lanceolate to ovate in shape. The leaves emit a minty fragrance when crushed. [1]
P. floridanum is found in southeastern Georgia to northern peninsular Florida and eastern panhandle Florida. It is found in longleaf pine sandhills. [2]
