The Quad Cities is a region of cities in the U.S. states of Iowa and Illinois: Davenport and Bettendorf in southeastern Iowa, and Rock Island, Moline and East Moline in northwestern Illinois. These cities are the center of the Quad Cities metropolitan area, a region within the Mississippi River Valley, which as of 2023 had a population estimate of 467,817 and a Combined Statistical Area (CSA) population of 474,019, making it the 90th-largest CSA in the nation.
Moline is a city located in Rock Island County, Illinois, United States. With a population of 42,985 in 2020, it is the largest city in Rock Island County. Moline is one of the Quad Cities at the confluence of the Rock and Mississippi rivers, along with neighboring East Moline and Rock Island in Illinois and the cities of Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa. The Quad Cities had a population of 384,324 in 2020. The city is the ninth-most populous in Illinois outside the Chicago metropolitan area.
Silvis is a city in Rock Island County, Illinois, United States. It is part of a larger metropolitan area known as the Quad Cities. The Quad Cities Metropolitan Area is situated across four counties in Illinois and Iowa. It is located four miles (6.4 km) from the intersection of Interstate 80 and Interstate 88, 165 miles (266 km) of Chicago, and 165 miles (266 km) east of Des Moines. It sits next to East Moline and Moline, Illinois.

The 98 B-Line was a bus rapid transit line in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, that began service in September 2000. It linked Richmond to Downtown Vancouver, with a connection to Vancouver International Airport. It travelled mainly along Granville Street in Vancouver and a dedicated bus lane on No. 3 Road in Richmond. It was operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company and was funded by TransLink. The route was 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) long. The line carried over 18,000 passengers daily. It was discontinued in September 2009, shortly after the opening of the Canada Line, which replaced it.
The 97 B-Line was an express bus line in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It connected Coquitlam Central station on the West Coast Express system to Lougheed Town Centre station on the SkyTrain system. It was operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company and funded by TransLink. Going west, the route went along Clarke Rd., St. John's St., Ioco Rd, Guildford Way and Pinetree Way, and served Burnaby, Port Moody, and Coquitlam. The 97 B-Line was discontinued on December 18, 2016, as part of the December 2016 TransLink seasonal bus service changes, many resulting from the opening of the Evergreen Extension of the Millennium Line. The line carried 10,750 passengers on weekdays in 2011.
Valley Metro, the operational name for the Greater Roanoke Transit Company, is a local government-owned urban-suburban bus line based in Roanoke, Virginia with First Transit providing the general and assistant general managers. The staff is employed by Southwest Virginia Transit Management Company, a First Transit subsidiary. Valley Metro serves the independent cities of Roanoke and Salem, the town of Vinton, and limited unincorporated portions of Roanoke County. Valley Metro has a fleet of 42 buses and 7 paratransit vehicles, and many lines originate and/or terminate at Campbell Court, a central bus station in downtown Roanoke which is also served by Greyhound. In FY 2023 the system got around 3,600 boardings per day according to the DRPT.
San Joaquin Regional Transit District is a transit district that provides bus service to the city of Stockton, California and the surrounding communities of Lodi, Ripon, Thornton, French Camp, Lathrop, Manteca, and Tracy. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 2,432,000, or about 9,200 per weekday as of the first quarter of 2024.
The Norwalk Transit District (NTD) is the primary provider of public transportation services in Norwalk, Connecticut, United States, and surrounding communities. The local Norwalk fixed-route bus transit system, is the primary service of the district linking Norwalk and its immediate suburbs. The agency also operates regional bus services as far north as Danbury and as far east as Bridgeport and commuter shuttles to Metro-North stations. Paratransit door-to-door services are available for residents in the service area unable to use regular transit services. Norwalk Transit contracts with local transportation service providers to perform some of the door-to-door services, and is also the provider of public transit for the Westport Transit District.
The Hobart Bus Mall is the main urban bus interchange for Metro Tasmania in the Hobart central business district. Situated on Elizabeth Street, it serves daily commuters from suburbs, nearby cities, and towns including Clarence, Glenorchy, Richmond, Cambridge and Kingborough. The interchange spans Elizabeth Street between Macquarie and Collins streets, with additional bus stops at Franklin Square and one on Liverpool Street near the Elizabeth Street Mall's north end. The interchange is within 500 metres (1,600 ft) of connecting coach services on Murray Street, ferry services and airport bus services at Brooke Street Pier.
Mondawmin station is a Metro SubwayLink station in Baltimore, Maryland. It is located under the intersection of Reisterstown Road and Liberty Heights Avenue in the Mondawmin neighborhood, adjacent to the Mondawmin Mall. It is the northernmost underground station on the line, and a major transfer point to many bus routes.
Greater Bridgeport Transit (GBT) is a transit service serving the Greater Bridgeport region of the U.S. state of Connecticut. GBT provides local bus service to the cities/towns of Bridgeport, Trumbull, Stratford, Milford, Fairfield, Westport, Shelton, and Monroe. The fleet is composed of mainly New Flyer Xcelsior and New Flyer Low Floor, as well as Gillig Low Floor and two Proterra Catalyst BE40 models.
Davenport CitiBus is the transit agency serving Davenport, Iowa, United States. CitiBus has a total of twenty-one vehicles and covers approximately 30 square miles (78 km2) of the city. CitiBus connects with both Bettendorf Transit and the Illinois Quad Cities mass transit system, MetroLINK. The system operates Monday to Saturday.

It is also the provider of bus service on the campus of West Virginia University. Inter-city bus service to Fairmont, Clarksburg, Waynesburg, PA, Pittsburgh, PA, and the Pittsburgh International Airport is achieved with the Grey Line. Fare for all local routes is $0.75, while Grey Line can cost up to $20 for a single person to Pittsburgh International Airport from Clarksburg WV. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 638,900, or about per weekday as of the first quarter of 2024.
Blue Water Area Transit (BWAT) is the public transit operator serving Port Huron, Michigan and surrounding St. Clair County. Operated by the Blue Water Area Transportation Commission (BWATC), the BWAT system includes fixed-route buses in the Port Huron area, plus commuter routes and paratransit services. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 1,013,200, or about 3,800 per weekday.
Greater Quad Cities, IA–IL is a nickname for the Davenport–Moline, IA–IL Combined Statistical Area, an area that is made up of four counties in Iowa and three in Illinois. The statistical area includes one metropolitan areas and two micropolitan area. As of the 2010 Census, the CSA had a population of 471,551.
The New Flyer Xcelsior is a line of transit buses available in 35-foot rigid, 40-foot rigid, and 60-foot articulated nominal lengths manufactured by New Flyer Industries since 2008. In addition to the different available lengths, the buses are sold with a variety of propulsion systems: conventional diesel, compressed natural gas (CNG), diesel-electric hybrid, hydrogen fuel cell, overhead electric wire and battery electric. A future autonomous bus variant was announced in January 2021.
Omaha Rapid Bus Transit (ORBT) is a bus rapid transit service in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It is operated by Metro Transit and serves 8.2 miles (13.2 km) of Dodge Street between Omaha's Old Market entertainment district and the transit center at Westroads Mall. Construction began begin in late 2018, with full service beginning in the fall of 2020. The system uses 60-foot (18 m) articulated buses powered by compressed natural gas. The route features dedicated lanes, signal priority for ORBT vehicles, and a park and ride lot at Westroads Mall.
7th-8th Street & Nicollet is a bus rapid transit station on the Metro C Line and D Line in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The station is located at the intersection of Nicollet Mall, with the northbound platform located on 7th Street and the southbound platform on 8th Street. The platforms are referred to as 7th Street & Nicollet and 8th Street & Nicollet, respectively. The station is located within the Downtown Minneapolis Fare Zone, where riders can travel in the zone for 50¢ with no transfers.
