Raden Kodijat (1890-1968) was the recipient of the 1961 Ramon Magsaysay Award for his dedicated and skillful coordination of the massive yaws erradication campaign. Priyayi was the Dutch-era class of the nobles of the robe, as opposed to royal nobility or ningrat (Javanese), in Java, Indonesia. Priyayi is a Javanese word originally denoting the descendants of the adipati or governors, the first of whom were appointed in the 17th century by the Sultan Agung of Mataram to administer the principalities he had conquered. Initially court officials in pre-colonial kingdoms, the priyayi moved into the colonial civil service and then on to administrators of the modern Indonesian Republic.

Raden Wijaya or Raden Vijaya was a Javanese emperor, and the founder and first monarch of the Majapahit Empire. His rule was marked by the victory against the army and the Mongol navy of Kublai Khan's Yuan dynasty.
Tasikmalaya Regency is a regency in the province of West Java in Indonesia. With an area of 2,708.82 km2 (1,046 sq mi), it is the biggest and most important in the southeast region of East Preanger. Karawang Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of West Java, Indonesia. The town of Karawang is its administrative centre. The regency covers an area of 1,911.09 km2 and had a population of 2,127,791 people at the 2010 Census, which grew to 2,361,019 at the 2020 Census. The Demak Sultanate was a Javanese Muslim state located on Java's north coast in Indonesia, at the site of the present-day city of Demak. A port fief to the Hindu-Buddhist Majapahit kingdom thought to have been founded in the last quarter of the 15th century, it was influenced by Islam brought by Muslim traders from China, Gujarat, Arabia and also Islamic kingdoms in the region, such as Samudra Pasai, Malacca and Bani (Muslim) Champa. The sultanate was the first Muslim state in Java, and once dominated most of the northern coast of Java and southern Sumatra.

Soetomo was an Indonesian physician and nationalist. He was the co-founder of Boedi Oetomo, the first native political society in the Dutch East Indies, and led the Great Indonesia Party (Parindra) from 1935 until his death. Soetomo was declared a national hero by President Sukarno in 1961.
The Trunajaya Rebellion or Trunajaya War was the ultimately unsuccessful rebellion waged by the Madurese prince Trunajaya and fighters from Makassar against the Mataram Sultanate and its Dutch East India Company (VOC) supporters in Java during the 1670s.
The Raden Eddy Martadinata class of guided-missile frigates of the Indonesian Navy are SIGMA 10514 types of the Netherlands-designed Sigma family of modular naval vessels, named after Indonesian Admiral Raden Eddy Martadinata. The frigates are each built from six modules or sections, four built at the PT PAL shipyard at Surabaya, the other two at Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding in the Netherlands.
Raden Aria Wangsakara was a seventeenth century local chief, muslim cleric and patriot originated from Sumedang, who is generally credited as one of the founders of Tangerang, a city in Indonesia which is now within the Jakarta metropolitan area. In November 2021 he was declared as a national hero by president Joko Widodo.
