Rampurhat Government Medical College and Hospital

Rampurhat Government Medical College and Hospital (RPHGMCH) is a full-fledged tertiary referral Government Medical college.The institution was established in 2018 by the Government of West Bengal in Rampurhat, an important city located in the Birbhum district of West Bengal. The college imparts the degree Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). Nursing and para-medical courses are also offered. The hospital associated with the college is one of the largest hospitals in the Birbhum district with 626 bed capacity. The NMC has approved an increase in MBBS seats from 100 to 150 for the 2025-26 admission session.
