Regilio Benito Tuur (born 12 August 1967) is a Dutch former boxer who was World Boxing Organization's super featherweight champion.

Prior to turning professional and winning the world title, Tuur knocked out reigning world champion Kelcie Banks in the first round at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. [1]

After winning a bronze medal at the 1987 European Amateur Boxing Championships, Tuur was selected to participate at the Olympics.

Professional career

In 1989, Tuur turned professional with his first fight held in New York. In 1994, he won the world title of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) by beating Eugene Speed from the United States in his hometown Rotterdam. He lived in Hempstead, Long Island for several years with his wife and daughter.

Finbar Patrick "Barry" McGuigan MBE is an Irish boxing promoter and former professional boxer. Don Diego Rivelino Alfredo Poeder is a former Dutch professional boxer. After his pro debut in 1994, Poeder was undefeated for 21 consecutive boxing matches. He gained the WBU cruiserweight title with a knock out over American Terry Ray in 1997, defending it once against Courtney Butler before falling to former world champion Robert Daniels in a bid for the IBO title.

The men's featherweight event was part of the boxing programme at the 1988 Summer Olympics. The weight class allowed boxers of up to 57 kilograms to compete. The competition was held from 18 September to 2 October 1988. 48 boxers from 48 nations competed. Giovanni Parisi won the gold medal.

Danilo Cabrera is a former professional boxer from the Dominican Republic. Known in professional boxing circles as "Cuero Duro", he fought for world championships three times, losing to International Boxing Hall of Fame members Barry McGuigan, Azumah Nelson and Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., respectively.

Jacobin Yoma is a French Guianan former professional boxer who competed from 1989 to 1999, and held the European super-featherweight title from 1993 to 1995.
