Lasgo were a Belgian electronic music group. The group formed in 1999 was composed of Evi Goffin, David Vervoort, Peter Luts, and Dave McCullen). Peter Luts confirmed on Belgian radio in 2008 that Evi Goffin was not returning to the band, after choosing to become a full-time mother. Luts announced around the same time that he was looking for a new vocalist for the band. Together with Belgian TV station JIMtv, he organized a televised search for a new vocalist, that came to pick Van Dael as the singer. The group name came from McCullen suggesting something related to Scotland, and creating Lasgo out of Glasgow.
Ian Van Dahl was a Belgian progressive house, electro house, and deep house music project, created by Christophe Chantzis and Erik Vanspauwen, with first singer Martine Theeuwen, who also co-wrote and sang the song "Castles in the Sky". Cindy Mertens was the second singer and can be seen in the music video for "Castles in the Sky"; her vocal contribution was limited to live performances only. In 2001 she was replaced by Annemie Coenen, who would become front singer of the project.

Recording sessions for the album took place from Autumn 2004 through January 2006, most of which was recorded after the third single from the album "Everytime We Touch" rose to popularity; the final recording session was completed in three weeks. The entire album was produced by Yanou and DJ Manian, containing heavily of up-tempo Eurodance tracks, many of which are covers of hit songs from the 1980s and 1990s of the synthpop, Eurodance, and rock genres. Musically, the album is composed of dance tracks with thick Euro synths, trance beats that clock in at over 140 beats per minute and Europop lyrics. Yann Peifer, known professionally as Yanou, is a German trance and Eurodance musician and producer. He is most famous for collaborating on DJ Sammy's hit "Heaven" with vocalist Do and for being a member of the popular German trance acts Tune Up! with DJ Manian, and Cascada alongside Natalie Horler as well as Manian. Before Yanou worked with Tune Up!, Cascada and DJ Sammy, he produced and wrote tracks for "Beam & Yanou" in the late 1990s.

Astroline were a Belgian Eurodance project by DJ/producer Bart Smolders, Christophe Chantzis and Stefan Wuyts, who were together from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s. They are best known for their hit single "Feel The Fire". Vocals were done by Kathleen Goossens. Other producers involved were Gert Corvers and Peter Luts. On stage singer Kathleen Goossens was accompanied by Gert Covers on keyboard and two dancers.
Absolom was a Belgian dance project produced by Christophe Chantzis and DJ Jimmy Goldschmitz. The group was popular in Europe by the end of the 1990s. For remixer and main-producer Chantzis the project was his first major effort in the Belgian dance scene. Vocals were done by Pascale Feront who gained some attention by entering the final of The Soundmix Show. A live-act was put together, consisting of singer Pascal Feront, two professional female dancers and Christophe Chantzis on keyboard. He also supplied the additional vocals on some singles.
AnnaGrace, was a Belgian progressive house, electro house, and deep house music project fronted by Belgian singer Annemie Coenen and produced by DJ and record producer Peter Luts. The project first achieved success in 2008 with the hit singles "You Make Me Feel", "Let the Feelings Go", "Love Keeps Calling" and the 2010 debut AnnaGrace album Ready to Dare. Today, Coenen continues to tour worldwide.

The second single, "Glorious", was released a month before the album and achieved success in Germany, peaking inside the top-ten, being their first single in 4 years to do so.
