Sericophylla is a monotypic moth genus of the family Crambidae described by Alfred Jefferis Turner in 1937. [1] Its only species, Sericophylla nivalis, described in the same paper, is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland. [2]

In modern classifications they are treated as the distinct gelechioid family Depressariidae.

Some occur in temperate regions, but the subfamily is apparently completely absent from Europe, at least as native species.
