The shooting starts with a gunman shooting a janitor. The incident occurred at 10:50 pm on Level P1, when the suspect shot 4 times hitting the janitor's legs and buttocks. The victim manage to flee away inside the center for help, while the suspect escaped to P2. The suspect fired at a staircase window and a sliding door on Level P2 before fleeing. The suspect hijacked a Perodua Ativa from a visitor at gunpoint, the driver got forced to drive to the highway to Shah Alam. To this day, the suspect in his 30s is still in Selangor. [6] [7]
