Seychelles competed at the 2019 African Games held from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. In total, athletes representing Seychelles won one gold medal, one silver medal and two bronze medals and the country finished 18th in the medal table. All medals were won in swimming by Felicity Passon. Passon also served as flag bearer at the opening ceremony of the 2019 African Games.

Eight athletes were scheduled to compete in athletics: Ned Justeen Azemia, Stefano Bibi, Norris Brioche, Natasha Chetty, Sharry Dodin, Leeroy Henriette, Iven Moise and Dylan Sicobo. [1]
Sharry Dodin, Dylan Sicobo and Leeroy Henriette competed in the men's 100 metres. Dodin and Henriette were also scheduled to compete in the men's 200 metres event but they did not start.
Stefano Bibi competed in the men's 400 metres event and he did not advance to the semifinals.
Ned Justeen Azemia competed in the men's 400 metres hurdles event and he did not advance to compete in the final. [2]
Iven Moise competed in the men's 5000 metres event and he finished in 25th place. [3]
Natasha Chetty competed in the women's high jump event. She finished in a shared 9th place with Basant Hassan (representing Egypt).
Norris Brioche competed in the men's high jump event. He finished in a shared 8th place with Mieguery Kwenda and Mohamed Younes Idris.
Allisen Camille competed in badminton in the women's singles event. [4] She was eliminated in the first round. [4]
Three athletes competed in boxing: Andrick Allisop (men's 63kg), Shain Barnsley Boniface (men's 69kg) and Jovet Nicol Jean (men's 81kg).
All three competed in one match and all three did not advance to the next round.
Tony Lespoir competed in canoeing. [5] He competed in the Men's K1 200 metres event and he finished 4th in the semi-finals. [5]
Derick Croisee (men's −81 kg), Dominic Dugasse (men's −100 kg) and Nantenaina Finesse (men's −90 kg) represented Seychelles in judo. [6] [7] [8]
Five swimmers represented Seychelles in swimming: Mathieu Bachmann, Simon Bachmann, Khema Elizabeth, Felicity Passon and Samuele Rossi. [9]
Felicity Passon won two gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal - these are also all medals won by athletes representing Seychelles at the 2019 African Games. [10]
Seychelles competed in the women's tournament. [11] The women's team lost two out of three games and did not advance to the semi-finals. [11]
Steven Baccus, Clementina Agricole, Rick Confiance and Chakira Mary Rose were scheduled to compete in weightlifting. [12] Baccus and Rose did not compete in their events. [12]
Agricole competed in the women's 59 kg events and Confiance competed in the men's 73 kg events. [13] [14] [15]
The Seychelles was represented at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne by a 32-member strong contingent comprising 22 sportspersons and 10 officials. The 2006 event was the fifth time the nation has entered the Commonwealth Games, previously having won three medals – two silver and one bronze. The Seychelles team competed in seven of the 16 sporting disciplines at the Games, including athletics, boxing, weightlifting, badminton, table tennis, swimming and cycling. Reigning Seychelles Sportslady of the Year, javelin specialist Lindy Leveau-Agricole was chosen to be the team's flag bearer during the opening ceremony.
Seychelles competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016. This was the nation's eighth appearance at the Summer Olympics, with the exception of the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul because of its partial support to the North Korean boycott.
Ned Justeen Azemia is a Seychellois hurdler who specialises in the 400 metres hurdles. He is the current Seychellois record holder in the event. Azemia competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in the 400 metres hurdles. He has also competed in two World Junior Championships, an African athletics championships and an African Youth Games. Azemia has also raced over the flat 400 metres distance.
Sharry Marius Dodin is a Seychellois sprinter who specializes in the 100 metre and 200 metre distances.
Tunisia competed at the 2019 African Games held from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. In total, athletes representing Tunisia competed in all 26 sports held at the competition and they won 26 gold medals, 36 silver medals and 35 bronze medals. The country finished in 6th place in the medal table.

Felicity Elizabeth Passon is a Seychellois swimmer. She competed in the women's 50 metre freestyle at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. She represented Seychelles at the 2019 African Games, winning two gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal, and qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Gabon competed at the 2019 African Games held from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. In total, athletes representing Gabon won two gold medals and four bronze medals and the country finished 20th in the medal table.
