Jean Marie Cliff Babet, Ryan Chan Yam and Stephan Klein represented Mauritius in archery in the men's individual recurve and men's team recurve events.

Jonathan Bardottier and Noah Bibi represented Mauritius in the men's 100 metres event. [2] Bardottier advanced to compete in the semifinals and Bibi did not advance to compete in the semifinals. [2]
Bardottier also competed in the men's 200 metres event. [2] In this event he also advanced to compete in the semifinals but he did not qualify to compete in the final. [2]

South Africa competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, from 13 to 29 August 2004. This was the nation's sixteenth overall and fourth consecutive appearance at the Summer Olympics in the post-apartheid era. The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) sent a total of 106 athletes to the Games, 66 men and 40 women, to compete in 19 sports. Field hockey was the only team-based sport in which South Africa had its representation at these Games. There was only a single competitor in archery, canoeing, diving, artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, judo, sailing, shooting, taekwondo, and wrestling.
Cambodia competed in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from 18 August to 2 September 2018. This event marks the 12th Asian Games appearance for Cambodia since making their debut in 1954.
India competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. The Indian contingent participated in a record 69 events, and earned medals across 18 athletic disciplines.
Morocco competed at the 2019 African Games held from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. This was the first time that Morocco hosted the competition. It was also the first time since the 1978 All-Africa Games that Morocco took part in the competition after being banned.
