The Belcrest Apartments is an apartment building located at 5440 Cass Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It was built in 1926 as the Belcrest Hotel, designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1983, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It is significant as an early example of the apartment hotel development concept in Detroit, and a major early work of architect Charles N. Agree.
The Hotel Gerard, also known as the Hotel Langwell and Hotel 1-2-3, is a historic hotel located in New York, New York. The building was designed by George Keister and built in 1893. It is a 13-story, "U"-shaped, salmon colored brick and limestone building with German Renaissance style design elements. The front facade features bowed pairs of bay windows from the third to the sixth floor and the building is topped by steeply pointed front gables and a highly decorated dormer. It was originally built as an apartment hotel.
Penn's Cave House is a historic structure, once used as a hotel from 1885 until 1919. It is located on the property of Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park at Gregg Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. It is now used strictly for offices for Penn's Cave, Inc., and has not offered overnight or hotel accommodations since 1919. The Penn's Cave property includes seven contributing buildings, one contributing site, and two contributing structures. Penn's Cave House was built in 1885, and is a three-story, seven-bay, frame building with a high mansard roof. It sits on a limestone foundation. It was extensively remodeled in 1938, and again in 1960. A one-story, rear wing was added in 1962, and was a coffee shop for cave visitors until 1980, when the Penn's Cave Visitors Center was built and opened. In 1980, it became a private residence. Its upper floors are used for corporate offices, private meetings and special events.
Keystone Hotel is a historic home located at Hummelstown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The original building was built in 1839, and was more than doubled in 1850. It was originally a 2 1/2-story, rectangular brick building with gable roof in a vernacular Federal style. The 1850 expansion raised and flattened the original roofline, and added a three-bay, three-story brick addition to the east side. An old brownstone addition pre-dates the 1839 building.
Indiana Borough 1912 Municipal Building is a historic municipal building located at Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1912, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, three-bay by five-bay brick building in the Dutch Colonial Revival-style. The front facade features a uniquely shaped, stepped and arched parapet and elongated arcaded windows. It is reminiscent of 17th-century Dutch Town Halls.
Union Hotel, also known as Shepherdstown Hotel, is a historic hotel located at Shepherdstown in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1860, and consists of a three-story, eight bay, rectangular brick main section in the Georgian style. It measures 56 feet, 6 inches wide by 33 feet deep. It has a brick ell, also dated to about 1860, and a 1 1/2-story frame summer kitchen. A one-story frame addition was built about 1920. The building was restored in the 1980s.
Andrews Bridge Historic District is a national historic district located at Colerain Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The district includes nine contributing buildings in the rural crossroads village of Andrews Bridge. The buildings were built between 1800 and 1850 and are the old Roop's Hotel, a former mill also known as Dobbin's Store, four dwellings, and three barns.
Hotel Sterling is a historic hotel located at Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1889–1890, and is a three-story rectangular brick building. It is in the Romanesque Revival style with Queen Anne and Eastlake influences. It is three bays wide, with a gabled parapet at the middle bay. When nominated in 1980, the hotel had 33 sleeping rooms.
Perkiomen Bridge Hotel, also known as Lane's Hotel, is a historic hotel complex located adjacent to the Perkiomen Bridge at Collegeville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The original building was built about 1706, with later expansions in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It consists of a c. 1800, three-story, six bay gable roofed stuccoed brownstone building with two-story porches and a low, gable roofed wing that is likely the oldest portion. Attached to this is a low, one-story kitchen wing and enclosed porch dated to about 1930. The building was auctioned in 2010.
Hotel Fauchere and Annex is a historic hotel located at Milford, Pike County, Pennsylvania. The main building was built in 1880, and is a three-story, square, wood frame building in the Italianate style. It is six bays wide, has a flat roof, and a one-story porch. The annex was built in 1905, and was originally a private home. The rectangular Queen Anne style building was purchased in 1907 by the hotel.
Fullerton Inn, also known as the Jacktown Inn, Jacksonville Hotel, and Fullerton-Sverdrup House, is a historic inn and tavern located in North Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1798 by William Fullerton, and is a 2 1/2-story, four bay stone building in the Federal style. It has a five bay wood frame addition built in 1805. Both sections have gable roofs. It operated as an inn into the late-19th century.
Joseph Pennell Elementary School is a historic elementary school in the Belfield neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is part of the School District of Philadelphia. The building was designed by architect Irwin T. Catharine and built in 1926–1927. It is a three-story brick building, nine bays wide with projecting end bays in the Late Gothic Revival style. An addition was built in 1954. The school is named for illustrator Joseph Pennell (1857–1926).
