Sililo "Joe" Figota Manuele (born 5 December 1965) is a male boxer from Samoa. He was born in Faleapuna village in the Va'a-o-Fonoti district at the north east of Upolu island.
He competed in the 1990 Commonwealth Games for Western Samoa, where he won a bronze medal for boxing in the Men's Light Middleweight class. He then competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics for New Zealand.

Sir Gordon Frederick Tietjens is head coach of the Samoa rugby sevens team, and a celebrated former coach of the New Zealand men's national team in rugby sevens, the All Blacks Sevens. When the International Rugby Board inducted him into the IRB Hall of Fame in May 2012, it said that "Tietjens' roll of honour is without peer in Sevens, and perhaps in the Game of Rugby as a whole." According to Spiro Zavos, Tietjens is "The greatest of all the Sevens coaches".

Orinoco Faamausili-Banse-Prince is a New Zealand swimmer of Samoan heritage, who specialized in freestyle events. He represented New Zealand at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, and competed as part of the men's national swimming team for the men's 4 × 100 m freestyle relay. Faamausili-Banse joined the team, along with compatriots Cameron Gibson, Mark Herring, and Willy Benson, and swam in the final leg of the competition, with an individual split time of 48.96 seconds. He and his swimming team placed sixth in the first heat, and eleventh overall, for a total time of 3:15.41.
