Anna Josephine Lawrence (born 9 March 1972 in Howick, Auckland) is a former field hockey midfielder from New Zealand, who finished sixth with her national team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.

Lawrence was educated at Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland and moved to Christchurch in 1990. She played inside left or right, and competed for Amsterdam in the Dutch League since 1997. She was Canterbury Winter Sportsperson of the Year in 1998 and has played for The Black Sticks since 1990, and captained the team from 1996 to 2000. She won a bronze medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur.

Lawrence retired from competitive hockey following the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. [1]

Her business career post hockey included various commercial and marketing roles. These included positions as National Sponsorship Manager for Lion NZ and the National Sponsorship & Communications Director for Lion Australia.

The forward, educated at St Hilda's College in Dunedin, played her first international against Japan for Otago in 1989, then played for The Black Sticks the next year against Great Britain. She was unable to play in 1995 because of back problems that required major back surgery and removal of a disc from her spine. She was given only a 50-50 chance of playing again. It was back injuries six years later that "was a big part in reaching the decision" to retire in November 2001.

Moira Anita Senior is a field hockey striker from New Zealand, who finished sixth with her national team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. She competed at the Commonwealth games either side of the Sydney Olympics, at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur and the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. Injury suspended her career until a return to international hockey in late 2004 when she was named in the Champions Trophy side after completing the 2004 NHL as one of the top goal scorers. She scored eight goals for the Central Mysticks, who won the women's title.

Diana Elizabeth Weavers is a field hockey defender from New Zealand, who finished sixth with her national team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. She also competed with The Black Sticks at the 1998 and the 2002 Commonwealth Games, and at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
