It was released on 28 December 1987 as the album's third single, reaching number 21 in the United Kingdom, number six in both Switzerland and West Germany, also entering the US Billboard Hot 100 as its predecessors.

It's a Man's World is the twenty-first studio album by American singer and actress Cher released on November 6, 1995, by WEA, a label of Warner Music UK. This is also the start of her second stint with Warner Music Group. With an adjusted track list, the album was released in the United States on June 25, 1996, by Reprise Records. As of 1997, the album has sold 700,000 copies worldwide. In the UK the album peaked at number 10 and was certified Gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for selling more than 100,000 copies.
"Don't Look Back" is the third English single released from the Mexican Latin pop singer Thalía's crossover 2003 album, Thalía. The song was written by Martin Harrington, Ash Howes and Rob Davis, and produced by Martin Harrington and Ash Howes; its melody is nearly identical to that of Kylie Minogue's "Love at First Sight", also co-written by Harrington and Howes. A Spanish version of the song was recorded and included on Thalía's album, Toda la Felicidad. The remix version reached #9 position of "Billboard's Dance/Club Play Songs".
"Believe" is a song by the American singer and actress Cher from her 22nd studio album, Believe. It was released as the album's lead single on October 19, 1998, by Warner Bros. Records. After circulating for months, a demo written by Brian Higgins, Matthew Gray, Stuart McLennen and Timothy Powell, was submitted to Warner's chairman Rob Dickins, while he was scouting for songs to include on Cher's new album. Aside from the chorus, Dickins was not impressed by the track so he enlisted two more writers, Steve Torch and Paul Barry in order to complete it. Cher also later did some adjustments herself to the lyrics but did not get a songwriting credit. Recording took place at Dreamhouse Studio in West London, while production was in charge of Mark Taylor and Brian Rawling.
"Need You Tonight" is a song by the Australian rock band INXS, released as the first single from their 1987 album, Kick, as well as the fourth song on the album. It is the only INXS single to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also achieved their highest charting position in the United Kingdom, where the song reached number two on the UK Singles Chart; however, this peak was only reached after a re-release of the single in November 1988. On its first run on the UK charts in October 1987, it stalled at No. 58. It was one of the last songs recorded for the album, yet it would arguably become the band's signature song.
"When the Money's Gone" is a song written by Bruce Roberts and Donna Weiss and first released by Roberts on his 1995 album Intimacy. English musician Elton John provided backing vocals. An uptempo dance remix featuring Kristine W was also issued. The track peaked at number thirty-two on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart.

The dance-pop song alludes to themes of tragedy, heroism and brotherhood, and was released as a double A-side single with "The Music's No Good Without You" in July 2002 through Warner Bros. Records and WEA.
"One by One" is a song by American singer Cher from her twenty-first studio album, It's a Man's World (1995). Co-written by Cher and Anthony Griffiths, two versions of the song were recorded for the album: the original, included on British pressings, is a soul song with elements of rock and was produced by Stephen Lipson. The American mix was produced by Sam Ward and has an R&B feel with slight alterations; additional remixes were created by DJ Junior Vasquez. In the United Kingdom, WEA released the song as the second single from the album on January 6, 1996; in the United States it was issued through Reprise Records as the lead single on May 21.
"Paradise Is Here" is a song written by Paul Brady and first recorded by Tina Turner, for her album Break Every Rule. Brady subsequently released his own version on his 1987 album Primitive Dance, and it has also been covered by Cher for her twenty-first album It's a Man's World.

"Love and Understanding" is a song by American singer and actress Cher from her 20th studio album, Love Hurts. Written by Diane Warren and produced by Warren and Guy Roche, it was released as the album's lead single in 1991 for the North American and Oceanian markets. B-side "Trail of Broken Hearts" appears on the soundtrack to the Tom Cruise film Days of Thunder and is not available on any Cher album.
"Self Control" is a song by Italian singer Raf, released in 1984. It was written by Giancarlo Bigazzi, Steve Piccolo and Raf, and arranged by Celso Valli. The track topped the charts in Italy and Switzerland, and started the explosion and dominance of Italo disco-style recordings in continental European charts during the 1980s.
"Two Times Blue" is a song by American singer Deborah Harry, released as the lead single from her fifth solo studio album, Necessary Evil (2007). The pop rock song, produced by Super Buddha, finds Harry responding to a critical lover but confessing that she'd be unhappy if she left. It was released as a single in September 2007, and also inspired multiple dance remixes, including a radio edit. The song received generally favorable reviews from critics and reached number five on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, becoming Harry's highest-peaking single in 14 years. In retrospect, critics continue to regard the song as a career highlight.
"No Promises" is a song by Australian band Icehouse, released in October 1985, as the first single issued from the band's 1986 album, Measure for Measure. The single was released in Australia through Regular Records, on 7", 12" and maxi-cassette single formats. Chrysalis Records issued the single in the UK and Europe on 7" and 12" formats, with different track listings. "No Promises" was subsequently released in the US by Chrysalis on 7" and 12" formats, again with different track listings. The single peaked at #30 on the Australian singles chart in February 1986. A remixed version by (Love) Tattoo was included on the Icehouse remix album Meltdown in 2002. Two music videos were filmed to promote the single; the second of these was directed by Dieter Trattmann.
"Suavemente" is a song recorded and composed by Puerto Rican artist Elvis Crespo on his first solo album, Suavemente, which followed his departure from Grupo Manía. Released as the lead single, "Suavemente" reached number one on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks on May 16, 1998, and remained atop the chart for six weeks. Crespo re-recorded it with Spanglish lyrics. The song also hit the Billboard Hot 100 as well as received a Premios Lo Nuestro award and two Latin Billboard Music Awards the following year. "Suavemente" was the tenth best-performing Latin single of 1998. The song has been covered by several artists, some of whom also charted.
"He Loves Me 2" is a 1999 song by the musician CeCe Peniston. This single was to be originally included on the singer's album, which was not released. A remix of the song, Paul Johnson's Dancefloor Dub, entered the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, where it peaked at number twenty-four in November 1999, after being classified number five as the Billboard Hot Dance Breakouts in the Club Play category.
Closer to the Truth is the twenty-fifth studio album by American singer and actress Cher. It was released on September 20, 2013, by Warner Bros. Records. Opting to re-establish her music career, she began planning the project in 2011, shortly after her appearance in the movie Burlesque and the conclusion of her residency show at Caesars Palace. Work continued into 2012 and 2013. While the album was initially planned to be pop rock-oriented, Closer to the Truth ultimately became a prominently dance-inspired record. As executive producer, she enlisted longtime collaborator Mark Taylor to work alongside new producers such as Paul Oakenfold, Billy Mann, Timbaland and MachoPsycho to achieve Cher's desired sound.
"A Deeper Love" is a song written by American producers Robert Clivillés and David Cole, and performed by them as Clivillés & Cole featuring vocals by Deborah Cooper. Released by Columbia in 1991, the song was the duo's fifth number-one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. On other US charts, "A Deeper Love" peaked at number 83 on the soul singles chart and number 44 on the pop chart. Overseas, especially in Europe the single charted higher, going to number 15 in the UK and number eight on the Dutch Top 40.
"Everybody Dance" ("Everybody Dance (The Horn Song)" in international releases) is a 1998 house song recorded by American singer Barbara Tucker, who co-wrote the track with LaVette Gordon, and produced by DJ Pierre, which was based on an instrumental he recorded under the alias "The Don" as "The Horn Song." The horn solo on the single was performed by Darrell Dixon. After its release, the label rerecorded the single with Tucker adding lyrics and vocals to the song.
