Season four of So You Think You Can Dance Australia , the Australian version of the American reality dance-off series So You Think You Can Dance , was hosted by Carrie Bickmore with Paula Abdul, Shannon Holtzapffel, Jason Gilkison and Aaron Cash acting as the judges.
The season consisted of 13 episodes in total. Weeks 1-3 were audition episodes, producing the Top 20 dancers who went on to appear in the performance episodes from Week 4 onwards.
As of season four onwards, the weekly results show, a staple of the series in seasons 1-3, has been cut from the show format and that only one episode will air each week as of the fourth season.
Auditions for the fourth season were held between September and October 2013 in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.

The second season of So You Think You Can Dance premiered on May 25, 2006, with new host Cat Deeley.
James Jordan is an English ballroom dancer and choreographer. His dance partner is his wife Ola Jordan, with whom he turned professional in 2000. Jordan appeared as a professional on Strictly Come Dancing from 2006 to 2013. In August 2014, he participated in the fourteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother. He finished in third place. He returned as an All-Star for the nineteenth series, where he was evicted in thirteenth place.

Lacey Mae Schwimmer is an American ballroom dancer and singer. She is best known as a fourth place finalist of the third season of So You Think You Can Dance. She is the daughter of noted dancer Buddy Schwimmer, as well as the cousin of Heidi Groskreutz, who placed fourth on the second season of So You Think You Can Dance and younger sister of Benji Schwimmer, the winner of the show's second season. She participated in the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars as a professional dancer paired with Lance Bass of 'N Sync, in the eighth season of the show paired with Jackass star Steve-O and in the ninth season paired with actor and Iron Chef America host Mark Dacascos. Schwimmer returned to Dancing with the Stars for its eleventh season and she was partnered with Disney Channel star Kyle Massey and in the 12th season, paired with radio host Mike Catherwood. In the thirteenth season, she was paired with transgender activist Chaz Bono. Schwimmer did not return for season 14 of Dancing With The Stars'.

Joshua Allen was announced as the winner on August 7, 2008, the first hip-hop dancer to win the title.

Season six is the show's only season to air during the fall season, immediately following the summer airing of season five. Live shows began airing October 26 and the season finale aired on December 16. Russell Ferguson, the first krumper to make it to the Las Vegas auditions, won the title of "America's Favorite Dancer" in first place and the $250,000 prize. Also in the finale were Jakob Karr in second place, Kathryn McCormick in third place, Ellenore Scott in fourth place, Ashleigh Di Lello in fifth place and Ryan Di Lello in sixth place.
Dansefeber is a Norwegian television reality program and dance competition airing on the TVNorge network. The show is a version of the US original version So You Think You Can Dance. Season two premiered with Merete Lingjærde, Geir Bie and Vibeke Sørlie as permanent judges and Henriette Lien returning to host. Contemporary dancer Hanna Mjåvatn was crowned Norway's Favourite Dancer and the top price of 500,000 norwegian kroner, as the first female dancer to win the competition in every version of the show. Runner-up were hip-hop dancer Eric Nærbø, with jazz dancer Michelle Purvis finishing 3rd, and Latin ballroom dancer Bjørn Holthe finishing 4th.
Rabih Jaber, also known by his mononym Rabih is a Swedish singer of Lebanese origin. He is a former participant of Swedish Idol 2009, where he finished in seventh place. Jaber and Eddie Razaz, yet another Idol participant, became a duo pop boy band as Rebound! in 2010 with a number of hits on the Swedish charts. After the split-up of the duo in April 2011, Jaber continued for a while as a solo singer. He has of recent years made a career as a songwriter for other artists.

Bingo Players is a Dutch dance and electro house musical project fronted by DJ and record producer Maarten Hoogstraten. Bingo Players was originally a duo, which included Paul Bäumer, who died from cancer in 2013. After the death of Bäumer, Hoogstraten announced that Bäumer had wished for him to continue under the Bingo Players name. They are best known for their hit songs "Cry " and "Rattle". "Cry " was a top-40 hit in the Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom and other parts of Europe and Australia, in addition to being an international club hit. Bingo Players were ranked number 52 in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list for 2013.
Madison Nicole Ziegler is an American actress and dancer. She was initially known for appearing in Lifetime's reality show Dance Moms from 2011 until 2016. From 2014, she gained wider recognition for starring in a series of music videos by Sia, beginning with "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart", which have in total attracted more than 5 billion views on YouTube. Ziegler has appeared in films, television shows, concerts, advertisements and on magazine covers.
American singer Lauren Jauregui has released one extended play, twelve singles, and one promotional single as a featured artist. In 2012, Jauregui auditioned as a solo artist in the second season of The X Factor. After being eliminated as a solo performer, Jauregui was brought back into the competition along with four other girls to form the girl group Fifth Harmony. It was written by Lovato, Kamille, Grace Chatto, Fred Gibson and Jack Patterson, and was produced by Chatto, Gibson, Patterson and Mark Ralph.
