She participated in the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars as a professional dancer paired with Lance Bass of 'N Sync, in the eighth season of the show paired with Jackass star Steve-O and in the ninth season paired with actor and Iron Chef America host Mark Dacascos. Schwimmer returned to Dancing with the Stars for its eleventh season and she was partnered with Disney Channel star Kyle Massey and in the 12th season, paired with radio host Mike Catherwood. In the thirteenth season, she was paired with transgender activist Chaz Bono. Schwimmer did not return for season 14 of Dancing With The Stars.

Live shows began airing October 26 and the season finale aired on December 16. Russell Ferguson, the first krumper to make it to the Las Vegas auditions, won the title of "America's Favorite Dancer" in first place and the $250,000 prize. Also in the finale were Jakob Karr in second place, Kathryn McCormick in third place, Ellenore Scott in fourth place, Ashleigh Di Lello in fifth place and Ryan Di Lello in sixth place.

Contemporary dancer Hanna Mjåvatn was crowned Norway's Favourite Dancer and the top prize of 500,000 norwegian kroner, as the first female dancer to win the competition in every version of the show. Runner-up was hip-hop dancer Eric Nærbø, with jazz dancer Michelle Purvis finishing 3rd, and Latin ballroom dancer Bjørn Holthe finishing 4th.
Rabih Jaber, also known by his simply Rabih is a Swedish singer of Lebanese origin. He is a former participant of Swedish Idol 2009, where he finished in seventh place. Jaber and Eddie Razaz, yet another Idol participant, became a duo pop boy band as Rebound! in 2010 with a number of hits on the Swedish charts. After the split-up of the duo in April 2011, Jaber continued for a while as a solo singer. He has of recent years made a career as a songwriter for other artists.

The sixth season of So You Think You Can Dance, a Belgian-Dutch televised dance competition based on the American show by the same name, aired in late 2013 and concluded on December 1 with modern dancer Danny Boom as the winner. The judge's panel for this seasons was composed, for the second year running, of Dan Karaty, Euvgenia Parakhina, Jan Kooijman and Ish Ait Hamou and the shows hosting duties fell again to Dennis Weening and An Lemmens, in their fifth consecutive year as co-presenters. For this season, the "boot camp" portion of the finalist selection process was held in Seville, Spain.
