Camp Landing Entertainment District is an enclosed shopping mall located outside the city of Ashland, Kentucky, United States, in Cannonsburg. Opened in 1988 as Cedar Knoll Galleria, the mall struggled to keep tenants for several years, eventually becoming a dead mall. Starting in 2005, the mall was renamed Kyova Mall and redevelopment began on the property. Customer traffic had increased, until further store closings, including two anchor tenants, Sears and Elder-Beerman, and the COVID-19 pandemic forced the mall to close. On July 16, 2021, it was announced that the mall was sold by Eggleston Associates to Jason Camp, Glockner Family, and Boyd County and that a major redevelopment plan would start immediately, renaming the area to Camp Landing Entertainment District. Some stores currently in or around the mall, such as Rural King, The Cinema at Camp Landing, and Burger King, were retained, while others, such as Malibu Jack's, Smokin' J's, and Backyard Pizza opened within two years.
Midland Commons is an outdoor power center in Warwick, Rhode Island. It previously existed as a two-story, enclosed shopping mall. The property opened as the Midland Mall in October 1967; for several years, it co-existed with the nearby Warwick Mall that opened in 1970. The mall was renamed the Rhode Island Mall in March 1985, and experienced rapid decline as tenants relocated to the Warwick Mall in the 1990s. It was considered a dead mall by the 2000s, and the interior of the mall was closed permanently in April 2011. The property was sold in 2012 and has been under redevelopment into its current configuration as a power center since 2016.
Dutchess Mall was an enclosed shopping mall in Fishkill, New York. In 2006, the main portion of the mall was demolished and replaced with a Home Depot except for the Jamesway and Service Merchandise anchor store buildings. The former Service Merchandise building was home to a flea market until the mid-2000s but now sits vacant and empty. At some point in the mid-2000s, the Dutchess Marketplace Flea Market move to the former Jamesway building, although it closed at the end of 2019. A new campus for Dutchess Community College moved into the Jamesway space and opened in August 2021. That portion of the property is still owned by J.W. May's.
Livonia Marketplace is an open-air shopping mall in the Detroit suburb of Livonia, Michigan. Opened in 2010, the center is anchored by Kohl's and Walmart. It occupies the site of the former Livonia Mall, which was an enclosed mall built in 1964. Livonia Mall lost the majority of its tenants in the 2000s, including its previous anchor stores of Crowley's, Sears, Mervyns, and Children's Palace. The mall was closed in May 2008, with only the Sears remaining from the original property. Sears closed in April 2020.
Inland Center is a regional shopping mall owned and operated by Macerich, located in San Bernardino, California along the southwest border adjacent to Interstate 215 and the city of Colton. The mall is within one mile of three bordering cities on the southern end of San Bernardino. Inland Center is a single-level mall anchored by, JCPenney, Forever 21 and Macy's, plus 110 specialty shops and services.
Somersville Towne Center is a regional shopping mall located in Antioch, California. Previously named County East Mall until 2004, the 501,259 square feet (46,570 m2) mall is managed by Urban Retail Properties. Originally opened in 1966, it is strategically positioned in one of the fastest growing areas of the San Francisco Bay Area, east Contra Costa County. Along with high population growth, east Contra Costa County is also experiencing sizable household income increases.
Market Mall is a shopping centre located in the Nutana Suburban Centre neighbourhood on the east side of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Built in the 1960s as Saskatoon's first enclosed shopping centre, it has undergone four major expansions since the late 1970s and now houses approximately 90 stores and services, anchored as of January 2021 by Giant Tiger, Planet Fitness and FreshCo. It also contains an 18-hole indoor miniature golf course, Ticketmaster booth, a branch of Service Canada, and a six-bay City of Saskatoon Transit terminal that was added in 2006. A branch of the Dollarama discount chain opened in 2014, replacing a bingo hall that had operated in the mall for a number of years.
Swansea Mall was a regional shopping mall located in Swansea, Massachusetts. It served the Southeastern Massachusetts area. Located off Exit 3 of I-195, the building is situated at the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and Massachusetts Route 118, on Swansea Mall Drive. It had three out-parcel buildings: a Walmart building behind the mall, a former Toys "R" Us, a shared PriceRite & Dollar Tree. The Swansea Crossings shopping plaza is across the street, and contains a Big Lots and a Regal Cinemas movie theater. The mall closed permanently on March 31, 2019. It was purchased by Anagnost Companies in May 2019 at auction. Redevelopment has begun on the mall.
Assembly Square is a neighborhood in Somerville, Massachusetts. It is located along the west bank of the Mystic River, bordered by Ten Hills and Massachusetts Route 28 to the north and the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston to the south. The district's western border runs along Interstate 93. Located 2.5 mi (4.0 km) from downtown Boston, the 143 acres (580,000 m2) parcel is named for a former Ford Motor Company plant that closed in 1958.
The Moreno Valley Mall at Towngate is a shopping mall located on the former site of the Riverside International Raceway in Moreno Valley, California.
Oviedo Mall is a single-story indoor shopping mall, with movie theater, located in Oviedo, Florida, a northeastern suburb of Orlando, Florida. The mall is owned and managed by International Growth Properties. Its only current anchor store is Dillard's, although there are two empty spaces that formerly housed Macy’s and Sears. Other major tenants are Barnes & Noble, a Paul Mitchell cosmetology school, and a Regal Cinemas movie theater.
Northpark Mall is a super regional mall located in Joplin, Missouri. The mall opened in 1972 with 600,000 square feet, and featured 60 stores, restaurants, and other services. Today, the Northpark mall is 1,080,000 square feet, and features more than 100 inline tenants including a food court. Northpark Mall is the largest mall in the Joplin region and serves a trade area of nearly 500,000 people. Freeman hospital added a soft play area in the Macy's women's court in the summer of 2014. The mall was also the temporary home of the 11th and 12th grades of Joplin High School until August 2014, when the new high school was completed. Northpark Mall is managed by CBL & Associates Properties. The anchor stores are Vintage Stock, TJ Maxx, H&M, JCPenney, and Dunham's Sports. There are three vacant anchor stores that were once two Macy's stores and Sears.
Santa Maria Town Center is an indoor shopping center located in Santa Maria, California. It is located on the junctions of Routes 135 (Broadway) and 166, and Cook Street and Miller Street. Anchored by Macy's and Edwards Theatres, Santa Maria Town Center is the only enclosed shopping center in Santa Barbara County, and is the largest in the Central Coast, totaling about 600,000 square feet (56,000 m2) in area. It is home to a mix of 69 stores and eateries totaling approximately 25 acres (10 ha) of retail space, and features national retailers like Kay Jewelers, Bath & Body Works, Foot Locker, and GNC. The Town Center also features two three-level parking garages with 3,315 total parking spaces.
Phillipsburg Mall was an indoor shopping mall located along U.S. Route 22 in Warren County, New Jersey, United States. Despite its name, the mall was actually located on the border of Lopatcong Township and Pohatcong Township, just east of Phillipsburg.
The Apple Blossom Mall is a 473,672 square feet (44,006 m2) shopping mall that was built in 1982 on the south side of Winchester, Virginia. It has 83 stores. Its anchor stores are Belk, AMC Classic, and JCPenney. The mall's one vacant anchor space was once occupied by Sears. The shopping mall was acquired by Simon Property Group in 1999. It is now managed and 49.1% owned by Simon Property Group.
The Shops at Billerica is a strip mall and former enclosed shopping mall located in Billerica, Massachusetts. It was built as part of a series of malls including the Woburn Mall, and the Mystic Mall. Anchor stores include Burlington and Big Lots. The property is currently going under a massive redevelopment, although the timeline for completion is unknown. Schuylkill Mall was an 800,000 sq ft (74,000 m2) shopping mall located in Frackville, Pennsylvania. Built in 1980 by Crown American, the mall originally featured Kmart, Hess's, and Sears as its anchor stores; later additions to the mall included Pomeroy's and Phar-Mor. In its day, it was one of the largest shopping malls in the state of Pennsylvania.
Imperial Valley Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in El Centro, California. Opened in 2005, the mall features J. C. Penney, Dillard's, and Macy's as its anchor stores. It is managed by CBL & Associates Properties.
Las Catalinas Mall is an enclosed shopping mall located in Caguas, Puerto Rico. The mall opened in 1997, and is currently anchored by two vacant anchor stores that were previously Kmart and Sears. A former anchor tenant, Sears, closed their store in February 2021. The store itself sits vacant as of December 2021. The mall is home to the first "Large Premium Format" movie theater in Puerto Rico and second in the Caribbean region at the time of its opening, which is owned and managed by Caribbean Cinemas.
