As of the census [1] of 2000, there were 297 people, 107 households, and 83 families residing in the township. The population density was 8.2 people per square mile (3.2/km2). There were 112 housing units at an average density of 3.1/sq mi (1.2/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 98.65% White, 0.34% from other races, and 1.01% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.34% of the population.
There were 107 households, out of which 44.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.9% were married couples living together, 0.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.4% were non-families. 18.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.78 and the average family size was 3.22.
