Star of Mahaputera (Indonesian:Bintang Mahaputera) is the second highest honorary award awarded by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, one level below the Star of the Republic of Indonesia. [2] This honorary award was officially established in 1959. [3]
This star is given to those who extraordinarily maintain the integrity, continuity and glory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. [4] As the giver of the honorary badge, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, directly becomes the owner of the first class of this honorary badge, namely the "Bintang Mahaputera Adipurna". Just like the President, the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia. [5]
The Mahaputera Star is awarded in five classes as follows. [4]
Adipurna (1st class) | Adipradana (2nd class) | Utama (3rd class) | Pratama (4th class) | Nararya (5th class) |
