The Via Flaminia or Flaminian Way was an ancient Roman road leading from Rome over the Apennine Mountains to Ariminum (Rimini) on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, and due to the ruggedness of the mountains was the major option the Romans had for travel between Etruria, Latium, Campania, and the Po Valley. Today the same route, still called by the same name for much of its distance, is paralleled or overlaid by Strada Statale (SS) 3, also called Strada Regionale (SR) 3 in Lazio and Umbria, and Strada Provinciale (SP) 3 in Marche. It leaves Rome, goes up the Val Tevere and into the mountains at Castello delle Formiche, ascends to Gualdo Tadino, continuing over the divide at Scheggia Pass, 575 m (1,886 ft) to Cagli. From there it descends the eastern slope waterways between the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the Umbrian Apennines to Fano on the coast and goes north, parallel to Highway A14 to Rimini.

The Pontine Marshes is an approximately quadrangular area of former marshland in the Lazio Region of central Italy, extending along the coast southeast of Rome about 45 km (28 mi) from just east of Anzio to Terracina, varying in distance inland between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Volscian Mountains from 15 to 25 km. The northwestern border runs approximately from the mouth of the river Astura along the river and from its upper reaches to Cori in the Monti Lepini.

Associazione Sportiva Lodigiani S.r.l. or Lodigiani in short, was an Italian football club based in Rome, Italy. The club was notable for their youth products. In the 1980s to 2000s, the club played in Serie C1 and Serie C2. In 2004, the club merged with Cisco Calcio Roma and became Cisco Lodigiani, despite that club changed the name back to Cisco Calcio Roma in 2005 and then Atletico Roma F.C. in 2010. Since 2005, several namesakes were founded as phoenix clubs of the original A.S. Lodigiani, as A.S.D. Atletico Lodigiani and A.S.D. Lodigiani Calcio 1972 respectively. They were amateur football clubs or youth academies.
The Caffarella Park is a large park in Rome, Italy, protected from development. It is part of the Parco Regionale Appia Antica. The park is contained in the Caffarella Valley and is bordered on its northern side by the Via Latina and on its southern by the Appian Way. It stretches from the main Rome-Pisa railroad tracks near the Aurelian Wall at its western edge to the Via dell'Almone to the east. It contains several sites of archaeological interest, as well as a working farm, and has considerable ecological value, with 78 species of birds and fauna. The Catacombs of Rome and Colli Albani are nearby.
The Italian Catholic Diocese of Latina-Terracina-Sezze-Priverno, in Lazio, has existed under this name since 1986. It is the historic Diocese of Terracina, Priverno e Sezze, whose existence was confirmed by Pope Honorius III in 1217, as a joining of the Diocese of Terracina with the Diocese of Priverno and the Diocese of Sezze under a single bishop. It is immediately subject to the Holy See.

The Terni–Sulmona railway is a regional railway line in central Italy, managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana. It links three regions, Umbria, Lazio and Abruzzo, and three provincial capitals: Terni, Rieti and L'Aquila. Together with the Sulmona–Isernia railway it forms a north–south corridor through the Apennines in central Italy. Its route is the result of two unfinished railways that had to meet in Rieti: the Pescara–L'Aquila–Rome line, and the Terni–Avezzano–Roccasecca line.
Strada statale 35 dei Giovi is an Italian state highway, which connects Genoa and the Italian Riviera with Como and the Canton of Ticino, passing through Pavia and Milan. The road begins in Genoa in the Sampierdarena district where it constitutes an important urban crossing artery with the Reti and Fillak streets, and then ends in Como more precisely at the Customs House in Ponte Chiasso on the border with Switzerland. Between Tortona and Casteggio the SS 35 is in common with the strada statale 10, while the Milan-Cermenate section is a Superstrada, built around the 1960s known as Superstrada Milano-Meda.
