Bao Yixin is a Chinese badminton doubles player. She won titles in the women's doubles category with many different partners. She won two World Junior titles at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships held in Guadalajara, Mexico. In the girls' doubles event, she was crowned World Junior Champion with Ou Dongni and in the mixed doubles she was crowned with Liu Cheng. She also won the mixed doubles at the 2009 Asian Junior Championships with Lu Kai and the mixed doubles at the 2010 Asian Junior Championships with Liu Cheng. Partnering with Tang Yuanting, Bao became the women's doubles champion at the 2015 All England Open. Bao graduated with a bachelor's degree from Xiangtan University.

Huang Shih-chung is a former badminton player from the Republic of China. He was the silver medalist at the 1996 World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles event partnered with Chien Yu-hsun. In the senior international tournament, he firstly took the podium as a men's doubles runner-up at the 1997 Spanish International. At the IBF Grand Prix tournament, he was the semifinalists at the 2002 U.S. Open and 2004 Thailand Open. He also participated at the World Championships in 1997, 1999, 2001, 2005 and in 2006. Huang occupied the men's doubles title at the 2006 Victorian International alongside Chien Yu-hsun. Educated at the National Taiwan Sport University, he won the men's doubles gold at the 1998, 2000, and 2006 World University Championships, also the mixed and men's doubles silver in 1998 and 2002 respectively. He was part of the national men's team that clinched the bronze medal at the 1997 East Asian Games and Asia Cup.

Xiaodong Sheng is a Chinese-born Canadian badminton player. At the age of 13, Sheng entered the Tianjin provincial team, and selected to join the Chinese national youth team in 2011. At the 2013 Chinese National Junior Championships, he clinched two titles, by winning the boys' singles and doubles event. After retiring from the national youth team, Sheng entered Kawasaki International Badminton Club trained by Li Mao. In his career, he won four international titles, namely Giraldilla International in 2018, Silicon Valley and India International Challenge in 2019, and Iran Fajr International in 2020.
The 1995 Badminton Asian Cup was the third edition of Badminton Asian Cup. It was held in Xinxing Gymnasium, Qingdao, China from 14 to 18 June with total prize money of US$130,000. Chinese team won titles in all the doubles events while Indonesia and South Korea won the men's singles and women's singly title respectively.
