The TVS Apache RR 310 (RR as Race Replica) is a sport bike made by the TVS Motor Company in collaboration with BMW Motorrad that was launched in India on December 6, 2017. [2] It uses a 312.2cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, SI, liquid-cooled, DOHC reverse inclined engine. It is rebadged by BMW Motorrad as the G 310 RR.
Although the engine of the Apache RR 310 is from BMW Motorrad's BMW G 310 R platform, the motorcycle was entirely designed by TVS in India. It is the company's first fully-faired production motorcycle. [3] The TVS Apache RR310 is powered by 312.2cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 33.5 bhp and a torque of 27.3 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, the TVS Apache RR310 comes up with anti-locking braking system (ABS).
The Apache RR 310 is a fully faired motorcycle with a supersport style seating configuration inspired from sharks. The engine uses a reverse inclined configuration. The bike has dual LED projector headlamps. [3]
The RR 310 has variety of electronics compared to other motorcycles in the Apache series like the RTR 200 4V.

In May 2019, the motorcycle was updated with a slipper clutch, and the company also introduced a new colour named 'Phantom Black', which replaced the old 'Matte Black' colour. [4]
In January 2020, the motorcycle was launched to cater to the newest emission norms of India known as BS6. Ride by wire throttle gives this motorcycle a better throttle response. Power and torque output remained unchanged. A new colour named 'Titanium Black' was introduced, which replaced the recently introduced 'Phantom Black' colour. The motorcycle was also updated with features like colour TFT screen instrument cluster with mobile phone connectivity and 4 riding modes (Urban, Rain, Sport, and Track). The urban and Rain modes produce low power and torque which offers better fuel consumption. The other updates were newer Michelin Road 5 tyres and the Glide Thru Technology Plus. [5]
In August 2021, the new 2021 model of TVS Apache RR310 was launched. The new model has the addition of new features like adjustable suspension with 20- step rebound damping on the left fork and 20-step compression damping on the right and 15mm pre-load adjustment. . [6]

BMW's motorcycle history began in 1921 when the company commenced manufacturing engines for other companies. BMW's own motorcycles—sold under the BMW Motorrad brand—began in 1923 with the BMW R 32, which was powered by a flat-twin engine. Production of motorcycles with flat-twin engines continues to this day, however BMW has also produced many models with other types of engines.
The Bajaj Pulsar is a range of motorcycles manufactured by Bajaj Auto in India. It was developed by the product engineering division of Bajaj Auto in association with Tokyo R&D, and later with motorcycle designer Glynn Kerr. A variant of the bike, the Pulsar 200NS was launched in 2012, but it was suspended for some time. With average monthly sales of around 86,000 units in 2011, Pulsar claimed a 2011 market share of 47% in its segment. By April 2012, more than five million units of Pulsar were sold. In 2018, they celebrated selling over ten million Pulsars backed an exclusive TV commercial and a marquee ride to in 6 cities to write "PULSAR" on a pre-defined route. The KTM 390 Duke and RC 390 are 373.2 cc (22.77 cu in) displacement single-cylinder engine motorcycles assembled by Bajaj Auto, and KTM Asia Motorcycle Manufacturing, Inc. (KAMMI) for the Austrian manufacturer KTM. The bikes were developed under a joint program of Bajaj and KTM engineers, in which the concept was developed in Austria, while everything else, including design and final product development, was done in India by Bajaj. The 390 Duke standard debuted at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, and went on sale in India and the Philippines in 2013 and in the US in 2015. The RC 390 sport bike was presented at EICMA the following year. After the Duke's initial release, KTM CEO Stefan Pierer announced plans to export the 390 Duke to the US for 2014. Bajaj said eventually the bike will be sold in 80 countries worldwide.
