Cults is an American indie pop band formed in New York City in 2010. The band first rose to prominence upon releasing their debut extended play, Cults 7″ (2010), on their Bandcamp page. They subsequently signed to English singer Lily Allen's record label In the Name Of, an imprint of Sony Music to release their eponymous debut album (2011). A song from the album, "Bad Things" was sampled by American rapper J. Cole for his 2013 single "She Knows", on which they were credited as featured artists.

It was released on June 5, 2014 and follows the release of their first mixtape The Wild, The Innocent, The TV Shuffle and their third EP Lonely Women. The band describe the album's songs as "about lost lust, too much love and not enough."

The Neighbourhood is the third studio album by American alternative band The Neighbourhood. It was released on March 9, 2018, by Columbia Records. It was preceded by two EPs: Hard, which was released on September 22, 2017, and To Imagine, released on January 12, 2018. The tracks from the extended plays that were not finally included on the album were compiled in another EP called Hard to Imagine. These tracks were also released in an additional disc on the digital deluxe edition of the album. An edition known as Hard to Imagine the Neighbourhood Ever Changing was released on November 2, 2018, and included all of the EPs' contents and all but two songs from the original album.

The Roop are a Lithuanian pop rock band from Vilnius. Formed in 2014, the group consists of lead vocalist Vaidotas Valiukevičius, percussionist Robertas Baranauskas and guitarist Mantas Banišauskas. The group has released three albums – To Whom It May Concern in 2015, Ghosts in 2017 and Concrete Flower in 2022 – as well as the extended play Yes, I Do in 2018. They were due to represent Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with their song "On Fire" before the contest was cancelled. They then took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with "Discoteque", finishing in eighth place in the final.
William Patrick Spencer Gold, known professionally as Wilbur Soot, is an English Twitch streamer, YouTuber, and musician. He first became known in 2017 for his work with the group comedy YouTube channel SootHouse, where he made recurring appearances and was the lead editor and a co-founder. He later started his own channel, Wilbur Soot, in March 2019.
