Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi [a] is a Pakistani Islamic Scholar,who serves as the chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council and had been the Special Representative on Religious Harmony and the Middle East,during the premiership of Imran Khan. [1] [2]
He had previously also served as Advisor to President of Pakistan for Affairs of Islamic World,Advisor to Government of Punjab,former Member Council of Islamic Ideology. [3] [4]
On 22 October 2020,he was appointed Special Representative on Religious Harmony and the Middle East by then Prime Minister Imran Khan. [1]
