Tai Po Hospital, located in Tai Po, Hong Kong, provides assessment, extended-care and integrated rehabilitation services to elderly, chronically-ill and acute psychiatric patients. It is also one of three designated spinal cord injury rehabilitation centres in Hong Kong. [1]

Facilities

The hospital complex has a gross floor area of about 39,000 square metres (420,000 sq ft) and consists of the Main Block and the Multicentre. As of March 2021, the hospital has a total of 1,026 beds, of which 433 are general (acute and convalescent) beds, 233 infirmary beds and 360 psychiatric beds. [3] There are also much open space for exercise and physical activities for patients.

CUHK Medical Centre Hospital in New Territories, Hong Kong

CUHK Medical Centre is a non-profit private hospital on Chak Cheung Street, Ma Liu Shui, New Territories, Hong Kong, next to University station. Opened in 2021, it is a self-financed teaching hospital of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). After the hospital is fully operational, it will provide more than 500 inpatient and day beds, as well as outpatient clinics and a series of specialist diagnosis and treatment procedures. The hospital is managed and clinical services provided by the CUHK Faculty of Medicine. The hospital opened on 6 January 2021.
