Giant is an American melodic rock band that was formed in 1987. The band originally consisted of founding members Dann Huff and Alan Pasqua (keyboard), and had Dann's brother David Huff on drums and Mike Brignardello on bass. The Huff brothers were part of the founding members of the Christian rock band White Heart.

Black Gives Way to Blue is the fourth studio album by the American rock band Alice in Chains, released on September 29, 2009, on the 17th anniversary of the release of their second album, Dirt. It is their first record without original lead singer Layne Staley, who died in 2002, and their first album with new vocalist and rhythm guitarist William DuVall sharing vocal duties with lead guitarist/vocalist Jerry Cantrell, who sings lead vocals on most of the songs. The title track is a tribute to Staley featuring Elton John on piano. This is the first Alice in Chains album released on Virgin Records and their first venture away from Columbia, who handled all of their previous releases. The album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, and was certified gold by the RIAA on May 26, 2010, with shipments exceeding 500,000 copies in the U.S. and over 1 million copies sold worldwide. The discography of Baroness, an American heavy metal band, consists of five studio albums, one live album, one compilation album, five extended plays (EPs), eight singles and eight music videos. Formed in Savannah, Georgia in 2003, the group was originally composed of vocalist and guitarist John Baizley, guitarist Tim Loose, bassist Summer Welch and drummer Allen Blickle. Signed with Hyperrealist Records, the band released their first two EPs in 2004 and 2005, simply titled First and Second. A Grey Sigh in a Flower Husk, featuring two tracks by Baroness and four by fellow Savannah-based band Unpersons, was released in July 2007. After Loose was replaced by Brian Blickle, the band released its debut full-length studio album Red Album through Relapse Records in September 2007.
Gold & Grey is the fifth studio album by American heavy metal band Baroness, released on June 14, 2019, on the band's own label, Abraxan Hymns.
