However, according to an interview with the army spokesperson Ricardo Siagian at Kadispenad: "Mestinya Tanribali Sudah Pensiun", Tanribali still held the post as of 17 January.

She has also served as an armed forces appointee in the People's Representative Council from 2002 until 2004. She was the eighth female to become a flag officer in the Indonesian Army.
