Thaumatoneuridae is a family of damselflies in the order Odonata. There are at least three genera and about five described species in Thaumatoneuridae. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

Genera

These three genera belong to the family Thaumatoneuridae: [2] [4]

The extinct genus Eodysagrion was formerly placed in the family. However with the recognition of the extinct Odonate suborder Cephalozygoptera in 2021, and testing of the groups monophyletic nature the genus was moved. It has been placed into the extinct eodichromatoid family Eodysagrionidae along with Oreodysagrion , and Tynskysagrion . [6] [7]
